View Full Version : The Outback Bowl
I'm an Aussie who had a holiday in the States last year, and was lucky enough to organise myself to get to RJS for the Outback Bowl last year. I follow the Bucs and have done for a few years now, and it was a great experience to go to their home stadium even if someone else was playing. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and think that RJS is a great stadium!
It certainly was great game. I couldn't have asked for a better game to be my first live football experience. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The only downside to the day was not hearing those famous cannons firing.
I spent New Years Eve at Ybor City, watching the parade, drinking with locals (and lots of buckeyes and game****s supporters), smoking cigars and eating deviled crab. It was a wild time and I've completely fallen in love with Tampa Bay. I'll be back.

Should be interesting this year with the Gators playing in the Outback bowl. Anybody know when tickets go on sale?

Being a Michigan fan transplanted to Middle Georgia, I have some questions. Easiest way to get into the stadium? How much is parking for the Outback Bowl? I am in Sec. 228 row D. Are these decent seats? Also, I have a 4 month old daughter. I am really hoping She doesn't need a ticket. If she does, looks like Ebay is calling. Any info is appreciated.

Entrance 3 on the South side is closest to your seats. Your seats are where the stadium curves, but you will have a great view-not a bad seat in the house. There are the huge screens(jumbotrons) at both ends showing the live action if someone stands up, etc. For the Bucs games if it breathes, it has to have a ticket. You can call the stadium to verify. You might try opening a thread on tickets needed section of this board if you need an extra. You'll love the stadium, it's great!

I called the Outback Bowl offices today and found out that since she won't be using a seat she does not need a ticket. Thanks for your input.
Are the seats a decent width? We went to an Atlanta game last year and the seats weren't very wide. Horribly narrow. Anywho, thanks for your advice. I don't care what anyone says, TB fans are as good as they get. Fanatical and devoted.

The seats are cozy, put it that way. I'm a big guy, hell I'm fat. Last game I was at I was sitting next to a big dude, it wasn't too bad. I forgot last time, parking is $10-$20.
Have fun! Glad you don't have to pay for the little one.
