Everyone put on your hypothetical hats.

I want you to imagine your Top 5 prospect.

Eric Berry
Ndamokong Suh
Russell Okung
Sam Bradford
Carlos Dunlap
Dez Bryant

whoever. The one guy that you really want. I know most everybody around here already has their heart set on someone. Who is it?

Imagine that the only way to get that player would be to (obviously) lose quite a few games this year. What if that meant the demise of our current coaching staff? I know, I know... most of us believe that there is a 3 year (or so) plan, that the ownership was aware that we were going to get worse before we got better.

Hypothetically, lets pretend that isn't the case.

Essentially, would you trade the staff (sit down, BFT) for "your guy"?

Of course this means that what we have invested in this year (Freeman) might not fit the new team. But hey, we would be getting Suh, Berry, etc.

Would you?

I think this hypothetical situation would work much better if we were actually winning...

Right now, it doesn't seem like we'll have much of a say in the matter. We'll lose regardless of our desires this year... but I'll say no, I wouldn't wish failure on my coach just for a player. That player is the result of failure either way, but rewind the clocks about a month now and I wouldn't actively say that I wanted Suh except by a trade.

not a buc fan but if i were i'd want suh and i would sacrifice your coaching staff for him.

tbh i was one of the guys on this board that thought raheem would be tampa's HC no matter how good or bad you guys did but now i'm not so sure. now i haven't seen a single one of your games or anything but going from what most of the members on this board say (not talking about the knee jerk reaction idiots, but the good posters on here) it seems like raheem doesn't know what he's doing and has lost the team.

If the current staff continues the current path, blowing them out wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. Suh is the guy. Hard to see him dropping past two in the draft. Can't see any of the teams that are currently lining up for the top of the draft, passing on him. All of those teams have defensive line needs.
