TSA policy prohibits bringing sticks into RJS, so it's ok for you to give out sticks to people once they're inside????? We'll wink and nod around safety/security restrictions so a Pewter Partner can pass out free stuff???

I don't know if the "no-stick" rule makes sense or not. But it clearly can't be both ways . . . either have a rule and take it seriously . . . or don't have the rule.

You have a very valid point but to be honest, I am not even upset about that. What bothers me is that they are going to be putting the flags in our cup holders or whatever, so what is to stop someone from taking more than one? I don't think the most of the regulars would take other season ticket holders stuff, but I'm sure that there will be alot of new people at the game. I have to say I will be pretty disappointed if I get to my seat and someone has taken my flag. I wouldn't be surprised if there were issues over it. Why don't they just hand them out as you walk in, like they do all the other souvenirs? I have to think it would be the same or even easier, manpower wise to hand them out at the gates, rather than having people walk all over the stadium placing flags. My friends are talking about stopping tailgating earlier so that they can get up to their seats to protect their flags!! Maybe that's why they are doing it - to increase concession stand sales.

I agree 100 PERCENT my friend! You hit the nail on the head. I have posted a couple of places here about this very thing. Look on the for sale board, no less than 5 posts will buy flags, and one guy is going to "snag" extras and post em back here for sale.

This whole thing would have been a great idea if it were handled like all the other giveaways. I can see the visiting fans stealing the red flags and leaving only the white ones so we look like we are surrendering, then selling em back to us on eBay next week to finance their plane trip home.

This could easily turn from a PR success story to a PR nightmare. I could just see someone either getting hurt from the stick part of the flag, or getting hurt during a brawl over stolen flags. Ownership & Pewter Partner get sued.

They really should have put more thought to this one. At the bare minimum, they should be handed out at the entrance!!

Yo Tangerine, enough of your nonsense. Seen you talking about this under couple other threads as well. I have several tickets to the game which equals several flags. By "snagging" I don't translate to "stealing." For example "going to the store to snag some beer". Also I don't plan on selling them. I am planning to mail them to people who have no way of getting them other than flying in from overseas or some other such. There are always a few people who don't want them. I am just trying to help out a few out-of-town Buc "fans" who couldn't get them otherwise. Get your act together before you even think of accusing someone of something as low as this. I am sure there will be those you need to watch out for but don't include me in this bunch. Been with the Bucs since the beginning and will be with them long after most of these people are long gone.

I agree that some people will probably steel flags, but I hope overall we look out for each other at the game. I plan on getting there early, and if I see someone taking a flag from a seat that does not belong to them, I will be the first to go to security.

I think the Bucs are trying to create a certain effect. They want it to be red, white, red, white.........

If they just hand them out, it wouldn't look as good on TV. That's just my guess

GO BUCS.

Well I'm truly sorry if I peeved ya off. You'll have to forgive me since in none of your posts did you say you were going to mail em off for free! Also, I didn't realize that NONE of the 6 folks in your party will want to keep their flag. Sorry you have to accompany all those 49er fans, must really take away from the fun of the game. Also, never EVER did I throw the word "Steal" in your direction. I mentioned "Snag" towards you and "Steal" toward visiting fans. I do stand corrected, you are doing a great service to all Buc fans all over the world (Yes even in Poland!) with your 6 flags over Bucland.

I am not accusing you of anything, all I did was wonder where you were going to "Snag" em from. You explained even though you didn't owe an explanation. Again and again. Perhaps you got too defensive but that's neither here nor there. Does my opinion matter, really? I am not one to fight over a silly li'l flag. But if I do see anyone grabbing a row of flags I will be screaming bloody murder, it won't be a sneaky theft. That's all I ever said, and that's all I would ever do. That's all I was trying to rally other Buc fans to do. Nothing against you personally, really.

Now Peace on all Buc Brothers and Sisters and lets not do any dirty deeds to each other!

Enough said

We are all Buc fans from day one. Just thought it would be good to share some of our good fortune with other fans.
