Which football game do you think is better?

i had ncaa 2004 then madden 2004 then espn nfl.

ever since i got espn NFL, i havnet played madden once. i tried to play it once but it just didnt feel as good or realistic as espn. the only thing that i think madden has over espn is the franchise mode. its much deeper in madden than it is in espn and madden has better stat tracking. but despite that, espn is so much better in everything else, much more fun to play and not so frustrating. anyways thats my opinion on this matter :D

I cam epretty close to putting my Madden '04 down and buying ESPN, but from what I'm reading on various BBs people who left Madden for ESPN are slowly coming back. From what I've read, most just aren' t satisfied with 2K4s overall feel(game physics). Some have said that the actual gameplay isn't anywhere near as realistic as Madden. I contend that ESPN presentation is the best in the business; graphically I perfer madden on the XBox(amazing!). I've also noticed that Madden isn't frustrating anymore, so much so that I've starting playing on all-pro and all-Madden. Games have come a long way from Tecmo Bowl that's for sure.

I think next year I won't pre-order Madden unless they make some drastic changes to the presentation, I'll most likely wait and read some gamer opinions. As for the ESPN brand I don't know...

NFL Fever! I rented both Madden and Fever this week and feel that Fever is much more realistic. I was extremely dissapointed with Madden's graphics. Fever 2004 is a great game and I would highly recommend it.

Madden 2004 is filth. It's terrible compared to 2003 or 2002 or even 2001. I hate the speed of the game and the gameplay. I popped in ESPN football and I quit with Madden.

I like Madden for the Owner mode, and ESPN for the first person mode.
