Well i played some madden with my busy schedule and the next 10 games looked ok for the Buccs. has anyone here played the regular season on any NFL video game with Tampa? if so what did you get? this is what will happen to the buccs in the future when they face their opponents!.
Buccs will lose against the Cowbows, yes i lost..
27 to 21- Dallas
Tampa will defeat the Saints in an easy game
21 to 9- Buccs!!
Buccs will win 2nd straight for the 1st time by beating the panthers at Carolina by a score of..
16 to 13- Buccs win!
Green bay will come to lose against a pretty good showing by the defence! Tampa wins 35 to 13, go buccs!
Giants come to town and beat The buccs in a very sloppy and rained out game final tally..17 to 13- giants.
Tampa Bay looks good as Pittman rushes for 172 yrds for the win
28 to 10 Tampa!
Tampa Drops a close game at New Orleands final score was
14 to 13 Saints
Texans come to town and take the buccs to over time with a tying touchdown pass but Martin gets the win with a 48yrd kick for the final 17 to 14- Buccs win!!
Micheal Vick comes to town and buccs welcome him in good fashion Tampa Wins this one 28 to 13. we block an extra point!
Tampa Wins this one 28 to 13
Titans lose at home to a great showing by the Tampa Bay Offence Brad Johnson throws for 4 TD's the final tally..
38 to 20 Buccs win!
my season record was 10 and 6... and I made it in to the wild card. and i did take out the players injured i tried to make it as realistic as possible. so hopefully the real outcome its better than this... yes i have lots of free time on my hands

I just started a new season and I'm 5-1 so far, I'm now playing the Cowboys. Already had 4 INT's in the first quarter.
The coolest game so far was vs. the Skins. I was up 28-0 within 4 minutes, because of 4 INT's, 3 of which were run back for TD's. (BTW I play 10 minute quarters with accelerated clock)
I did adjust the sliders a little bit, but not too much.

Not sure if this matters but I rolled Tampa 48 to 28 with Green Bay. Not like Madden means much in the real NFL.

LOL. Go to the maddenmana boards and see people playing the Bengals and Chargers talking about their 12-4 Superbowl seasons. Anyone who plays the game can get there, I have simulated the season and we went from 3-4 to 12-4, hehe. Lost to the Raiders in the superbowl like 35-3.

If you just watch the AI players in a Madden Demo... They do almost 90% passing. When I play I try to rush as much as possible... The players get tired quick when rushing though... Do you play the full 15 min quarters?

well i just started this Buccaneer season. I play in all pro. im not that good in all madden.
But since i got the game i started a Franchise with the Bengals
( my 2nd favorite team) :D
And in the 4 seasons I been incharge of the Bengals.. the 1st season being this one, we made the wild card but lost to the Raiders at Oakland. Tampa went on to beat Pittsburgh in Houston.
The 2nd season season i did much better I sign Greg Spires and Jermain Phillips, I lead the league in INTS and i took them to the super bowl but lost to The Buccs 56 to 7 lol.. it was an INT fest.
The 3rd season I took them to the AFC Championship game but lost to the Bills who went on to lose to the Buccs in the Super Bowl.
But Gruden Retired the year before. and Brad this year.. this year been 2006 .. hahah

I played Madden 2004 w/ the Bucs, and went undefeated through 2006, I don't know what their problem is!!!!

I play on All-Madden and in my best game defensively I beat the Eagles 35-0. I gave up 68 TOTAL yards. I couldn't believe it.
EDIT: 5 sacks and 5 interceptions, 1 was ran back for a TD and on another one the reciever caught the ball and I got a user pick by ""ripping" it out of his hands. Don't know how it happened but I saved the replay and I listened and watched, the reciever caught the ball and I ran up with Dwight Smith and he ripped it right out of his hands. I didn't know you could do this but evidently if you time it right it can be done.

I went 19-0 with the Bucs... got bored.
I'm playing with the Cardinals now...39-0 overall. Monte Kiffin is my head coach. I made sure to take him from my precious Buccaneers. The thing is, I traded pretty much my entire cardinals team to start off with. Hardly anyone on the team was really a cardinal. I have like 5-10 players left that were there when I started. I had mostly rookies my first season, and after that season, the ratings shot up. I drafted by need in the draft, and picked up Eli Manning (I import from NCAA) and he is now an 89 at the start of my 3rd season (drafted as a 75). I have an extremely potent offense, and a well-run 3-4 look on defense...
_______88
_______________91
87____84 87 86 87 _____87
_______83 88 82
Those are my defensive ratings... The front 7 were all rookies when I started. Terrell Suggs is my LOLB and I move him to DE in Nickel 3-3-5 and Quarter. My CBs are 1st and 2nd year players, both out of Oklahoma. My Nickel is an 80 and also out of Oklahoma (If you haven't guessed, I'm an OU fan.) Dexter Jackson is still my FS, and that makes me happy. I'd rather have Roy Williams, but, he's too hard to get.
87_______90 83 91 97 87 88
______________89______________91
______________91
______________93
Those are my offensive ratings... The WRs are both 2nd year... Rashaun Woods and Reggie Williams. I traded for both of them. My backup TE is an 83, and I run Singleback-Big a lot. My 3rd receiver is a 78, and in 4 Receiver sets, I use my TE (Kellen Winslow, Jr, lasted until 32nd overall) to play the 4. The 83 is Eric Steinbach, and my LG was getting old, or I would've kept him, he was a 92. I traded the LG for Steinbach and a 3rd and 4th rounder.
EDIT: Sorry bout the lines, it wasnt showing up right.

I never play out the whole first season in Madden, I simulate it and start playing in the 2nd season. I don't know why, maybe because I'm never really satisfied with the roster, so the extra offseason gives me a better chance to draft and sign some players to improve some positions.
I just started the third season (my 3rd franchise, All-Pro mode). At the beginning of the season I had some big trouble offensively after Brad retired. Simms now has a rating of 76, but had a rough 3 first games as a starter, so I benched him and signed Kordell Stewart, who's doing a solid job so far. Looks like I need to draft a new future QB.

I got bored with the Bucs, so I simulated the '03 season and took over the Cardinals. Had the first overall pick, and drafted the second coming of Favre (98 rating on arm strength, 92 rating for accuracy, and 64 in speed). Then I drafted a freight train running back for my 2nd. Picked up Dennis Northcutt and a Pro Bowl linebacker in the Free Agency. Fired the coach and picked up Mike Tice in the following season. I'm also moving the team in '06 to LA.
With Northcutt's speed, my QB's arm strength, and Tice's playbook; I just fling the ball down the field and pick up huge gains.
Needless to say, I singlehandedly turned around the Arizona Cardinals franchise.
Try it, it's fun.
