Madden NFL 2004

yea i had the bucs in my franchise i got up to year 25 and lets just say i didnt
check the memory card and what was on it and i saved over it. I wasnt to happy.

I have MADDEN 2004 FOR PS X (ONE) and although the game is fun, the game is completely unrealistic. No way can the football be throw right to the Buccaneers defenders and then seemingly go right through their bodies only to have the offensive opponent catch the football nearly every time. I can easily score 40 points a game with out batting an eye! Realism really lacks in the scoring and defense here. Good game though if you like to have a good laugh at how your opponent cheated you out of a win. I've played some games where I had caught the game winning touchdown as a Buccaneers receiver (I ALWAYS PLAY as the Buccaneers) and when I had seemingly won the game, a defender walked (yes, not ran) over to my receiver, stripped the ball, and ran to my 30 yard line to end the game with me losing and being screwed out of a win. That game can cause great anger. USE CAUTION.

It's definitely improved, but there's some flaws.

#1 INTERCEPTIONS: there is way too many interceptions. There's was 13 in one game I played.

#2 Left Defensive End: They seem to always play better than the right??? It doesn't make any sense either.

Greg Spires always leads with sacks. He had 20 in a year, verses rice who only had 5??? HUH??? It really doesn't matter, because the left end always performs better. It's really odd.

Then your game is glitched. Get a PS2.

I loved Madden 2001 on the PS but dude you gotta get with the times and get a playstation 2 or X-box or gamecube.

I absolutely trashed Madden when I first got it I thought it sucked now I love it it's great.

Believe it or not, I played a game out to see how high the score can get. 255 is as high as it goes.

I'v played it for 6 days, 12hours, 35mins, and 27secs.

I have played 86 games and won 98%. I plan to play my 100th game against my arch-rival Joe (who lives in my neighborhood), and beat his puny Seahawks senseless (one time I beat him 80-21 with my Bucs).

He's just my arch-rival because through the 'series' that we have played its 10-5 me. He has beaten me, but its always by a field goal and because I keep passing too much.

Thats probably because you need to run it more!

A good running game will really open up the pass, so get out there and run it right down their throat!

I of course started off with a Bucs Chise.
After lots of madden generated guys were around (like year 5 or somethin) I started with a new team, since I schooled eveyone with Tampa. (14-2 or 15-1 every year)

I took over Zona.
Won SB XXXVIII but now the computers schoolin me. (i am 4-3 and the ones i simmed are 1-2)

I even signed Bulger in the offseason (after I won the SB) and he's been complete crap. I traded Adrian Wilson and my 1st and 2nd round picks for John Lynch. I also got Chartric Darby before i started my first yr. I had the #1 defense #1 run D, and #28 pass D, until i played BMore and Boller went for 490 yds and 5 TDs on me....dropped me to #9 D ovr. #32 pass D, #3 run D. (Dillon schooled me the week before Jamal Lewis did.

Anyway yeah I love Madden. Tho I would like to try out ESPN just because.

yea i hate how it stops at 255 i mean i scored well over 8 more touchdowns and
like 5 more FG and i have over 2000 yards total offense, in a way i would want it to
be more realistic

any of you people that are scoring 255 a game and getting 13 interceptions a game should actually try playing on a level other than rookie. I guarantee you're not doing that on all-madden.

The most I've ever gotten was 30 points and 5 INT in one game on all-madden.
