Madden player Question

alrighty i was playing Madden today and of course i was playing as the bucs
andi used Ivy to deflect a pass and they called him #35 yet they have his name
and picture. i was wondering why they did that instead of saying his name

They just do that sometimes. Sometimes they'll say Ivy or Corey Ivy or #35, its just to make the commentating not so boring, gives a little variety.
