when is PS3 coming out?

I've read anywhere from late 2005 to Early 2006. They're going to release two version. One with all the bells and whistles(dvd, home entertainment system, broadband modem, DVR, DVD playback, Hard drive, etc.) and one with just the hard drive, modem and DVD playback. Did you know that game developers are already programming games to take advantage on the PS2s hard drive? I read that the New Version of Madden will take advantage of the ability to store info on the disk which will cut down on load times, have a greater range of pronouncable names, roster updates, graphics, etc. all the more reason to invest in the HDD.
