Man, there's been too much football gaming info today. I was just reading up on IGN's (http://sports.ign.com/articles/507/507632p1.html?fromint=1) First Look of EA's college football title. This years addition is going to bring the intensity of home field advantage into the game. Crowd noise and other game factors (ie big hits) will now rattle players causing them to lose copmposure and play poorly. Crowd noise will also cause you not to be able to communicate audibles to your teammates causing broken plays. This intensity will differ stadium to stadium. And at its highest te screen will shake and your controller will vibrate simulating the game atmosphere. Hit the link, you'll be impressed.

I have begun to like NCAA more than Madden recently. I love the different formations and plays like the wishbone and the option you can run in college. Those are basically the only two games I buy each year, Madden and NCAA football.

I agree. Madden and NCAA are the two games that I've bought consistenty since the 2002 editions. This year's versions of both should be amazing. I also liked NCAA 2004 more than Madden 2004.

But Madden is still a sweet damn game, you agree? I just think the series has gotten a little stale. Last year they finally added something new in the Playmaker control which was cool. Now this year you have Playmaker defense. A game, espically sports series, can only retain their popularity for so long on the merit of great graphics. After a while you need more to keep you.

BTW, not a huge fan of ESPN Football. Anyone like that series?

I agree on Madden. IGN reports that the improvements made to this years version are far more than what we've seen in the past. The article I posted on the 'Hit Stick' is only the beginning out what EA call extensive improvements. So that mean there's more to come. What i like about the two series (madden and NCAA0 is that they're no longer clones. What you find in Madden you won't find in NCAA and vice versa. That really gives each game its own identity.
