What rating would you give clayton on an NFL football game? does anyone have a collage game and has his rating on that? I want to create him on ESPN football, and need a rating.

I don't know if you know Madden but here is what I think. He gets a high overall because their are was good depth at receiver in the draft.
Overall :78-82
Speed: 88-90
Accerlation:90-94 (Read his report they say he has good burst of the line)
Awareness:70-76
Catch: 75-80
Run Block:58-65
Jump:92-95 Scale is from 0-99
It goes like this -29 "terrible" 30-39 "Bad" 40-49 "below adverage" 50-59 "Adverage" 60-69 "Above adverage" 70-79 "good" 80-89 "great" 90+ "Amazing"

Hey magic-Bucsfan, this is way OT but I rarley find a Magic fan anymore. Who do you want if we get the 1st pick in June? I think you have to go with Okafor.

i think 74-76 on madden 2k5 would be a realistic rating for clayton... his speed isn't soo high...perhaps 87 speed and 89 accelleration

He ran a 4.54 40 so his speed should be a little lower than 88. He's a maniac when it comes to blocking so you should raise that a bit somewhere in the good to great range. Bring his jumping rating down, as his vertical was great but not amazing. Lastly, and you don't have it listed but his run power should be in the good to great range as he get tons of yards after the catch, even after contact.

Watch tape of him playing! He is incredibly quick. Besides, what speed to you give Fizgerald? Or roy williams? Fizgerald ran it in 4.6 seconds. And roy williams beat Clayton by .04 seconds!
Roy Williams 4.48
Michael Clayton 4.52
Larry Fizgerald 4.62

Larry ran 4.47 and 4.51 at his proday workout, Roy ran a 4.37 and a 4.4, Mike ran identical 4.54.
http://www.nfl.com/draft/analysis/individual_workouts
Roy would get a 93
Larry would get a 90
And mike as I said would get a 88
You'd have to run the 40 at 4.3 or better to get into the high 90s.

Not sure exactly where this was from, probably someone on the EA Madden site posted it or a link:
40 TIME
Ability: Speed
TIME RANGE RATING RANGE
4.24 - 4.35 90-99
4.36 - 4.52 80-89
4.53 - 4.67 70-79
4.68 - 4.81 60-69
4.82 - 4.96 50-59
4.97 - 5.10 40-49
Roy Williams 4.48 ~ 83
Michael Clayton 4.52 ~ 80
Larry Fizgerald 4.62 ~72
Don't forget, you have to rate them based on NFL level skill, not NCAA level skill. Clayton might have been a great blocking WR in college, but that might not translate as well into the NFL. He got lots of yards after the catch, but again, the NFL is tougher.

That is totaly untrue. What do you give sapp? A 30 speed? No he gets a 50-60 speed even though is 40 time is 5 seconds+

Rememeber the 0-99 is speed for every position which means clayton is already assured so some speed because he plays receiver. Wayne Crebet was slow but never under 75 speed. Clayton at the very least gets 85

According to you Clayton should have a 69! Not a 80. Look at your own chart:p It says 4.53-4.67 = 70-79

Seems a big disparity for Williams and Fitzgerald.
I had no luck finding combine stats. Wanted something solid to work with for giving Clayton stats on Madden.
