I like XBOX....Cause of the graphics.....AND THEY GOT A NEW DEAL WITH EA SPORTS...So Madden 2005 will be on xbox live.

I like both systems. Just because there are certain games that you won't find on the competition's consoles. But I own a PS2.

Not sure about the graphics, but it should have better graphics considering it came out a bit later, so compare XBox with the new PS3 then decide. I actually think PS2 as a lot better games, and more of a selection. My vote goes to PS2

Ok, I'm sure this response will solicit a few :confused:s from the group, but out of the systems I own, I'm going to say the GBA SP.

Lots of remakes of great classics out for it-- The original Legend of Zelda and A Link to the Past, Breath of Fire 1 & 2, Lunar, Phantasy Star, ect.-- and some excellent original games like Golden Sun 1 & 2. You can play all the GB and GBC games on it too, which also include some good remakes. The SP has some serious upgrades over the original GBA such as a lit screen and rechargable battery, and everything I mentioned and the portability factor gets it my vote. I take the thing with me almost everywhere, great for long trips, flights, you name it. :cool:

ps2 has much better/many more games (and gameplay is 100x more important that graphics). Obviously the Xbox is much better hardware, but that's really all it is. If I want to play any Xbox games that aren't on ps2 (all 3 of them), I'll just play them on my PC with even better graphics.


And Madden has been online for ps2 since Madden 2003 and is 100% FREE (because Sony is actually making money on the ps2, so they don't need to screw over their customers by charging them to play online).

lol, I agree 100%. The PS2 has so much better gameplay. All xbox is, is a computer in a box. Most every popular game for Xbox is also on pc...and just like Buczilla, I can buy that same game for Pc, and play it on my computer with better graphics than that Xbox can ever have.

I own both the PS2 and the Xbox. The graphics are considerably better on the Xbox but the quantity of good games is deeper on the PS2. But the games that are good on the Xbox are of a better quality than the ones on the PS2. Three games that come to mind as far as quality go are Splinter Cell, Fable and Halo 2.

Great saying, but not applicable at all to this argument.

You see, the original argument is that playstation 2 has more quality games than Xbox, not that ps2 has more games than Xbox. I imagine they both have just about the same number of games; but the Socom's, GTA's, Gran Turismo's, and countless others make the slight visual setback in graphics not only bearable, but also more than worth it.

Im a big Nintendo fan, and its a damn shame Sega went bankrupt. The Dreamcast was the shiz and looked way ahead of its time. I have all three systems and I am a big game fan. If your looking for graphics, stick with XBox. Looking for some pretty good, non-FPS games? Go with the Cube. And online playabality would favor with PS2.

XBox... no matter what anyone says, it's a computer in a box...

that means anythign that will work on a PC under windows, will sooner or later end up on the Xbox.

not to mention the graphics are so much better. :) and have more quality games then the other systems.. (tho the other systems have MORE games.. doesn't mean they are better) ;)
