Simulation#2 :Seahawks @ Buccaneers

Ok, this is the second time I simulated using Madden 2004. Quick review from the last simulation:Bucs @ Redskins, The bucs lost and they lost bad: 24-6 All simulations are done with the rosters as up-to-date as I could get them and are done on the setting "All-Madden."

1st Quarter

Bucs get the ball first. Brad Johnson drops back and bombs it 30 yards down field only to have it intercepted at the SEA 45 and returned to the TB 15! A few plays later it is 3 and 9, Hasselback to Koren Robinson for a 14 yd touchdown. On the bucs 2nd position, they moved 60 yds down the field, but only get a field goal. End of the 1st quarter TB 3 SEA 7

2nd Quarter

Bucs ball. Brad throws another pick to end the drive(interception returned to the buccaneer 16). Hasselback drops back, sees the blitz coming and bombs it to the endzone. Intercepted Ronde Barber, who returns it out to the TB 36 yd line. All in vain however, BJ to Marcus Trufant(seahawk)for interception #3. Hassleback takes over and throws another INT. TB punts. Later, Gramatica hits FG number two. With only 25 seconds left before the end of the half, Kelly intercepts the ball for pick #2 which sets up Gramatica for another field goal. End of Half TB 9 SEA 7

3rd Quarter

Seahawks begin with the ball. Alexander fumbles the ball and it is picked up by Derrick Brooks. BJ then has his pass intercepted at the SEA 25. But the defence holds and seattle punts. End of 3rd TB 9 SEA 7

4th Quarter

TB Punts. Barber injures his hand and is forced to leave the game. Seattle then moves into the red zone. A few plays later Hasselback threads it to the End Zone; TD Seahawks. They then attempt and convert the two point. TB moves the ball to mid-field. Then Brad Johnson throws pick #5! Tampa Defence holds seattle and they punt. TB on their own 18 with 41 seconds left needing a touchdown to win. 2 plays later, we are on the 49 yd line with 4 secs left. Just close enough for a hail marry. The pass is caught by Joe Jurivious, but it is short. Final Score TB 9 SEA 15

Stats of Note: DT Randel the player of the game. 1 sack 1 fumble recovered 3 tackles
9 Total Turnovers in the game. Brad Johnson now has 0 TDs and 8 INTs on this fake season.

Ending thoughts. Hmm...0-2 I don't understand why BJ is throwing all these INTs. We will have to hope for the better.

If u watch a sim of a game on all-madden the com. always throws way 2 many INT's. They just throw bad passes.

Actually it is REAL easy th thro interceptions in that game, until you get the hang of the game that is. The computer does the samething.

Thats odd because i simulated the seasons, with updated rosters, and ratings, and the next year, whered they'd play teams like KC and Washington, and the Bucs went 12-4 and went on to win the superbowl.

On the other game, I updated the roster...... So There's 22 different players on the Bucs....

I decided to change the settings to "All-Pro" and I feel I got more realistic results.

It's funny that John Randle was the player of the game... even tho he's retired. :D

Well, in Madden, the Seahawks DT's are John Randle, Norman Hand Chad Eaton and Rocky Bernard...Rocky Bernard is the only one still on the team. Also, Isaiah Kaczyvinsci (spelled really wrong) is the MLB, in real life he is a backup OLB.

The thing about Madden is, they always come out with their games too soon, so they get all the rosters wrong.

I actually played a Seattle gamer Online yesterday and beat the Seahawks 17-3. The defense had a great fantasy day with 2 picks, 3 forced fumbles 2 recoveries, 4 sacks(Rice 2.5) and limited the Hawks to 212 total yards. Garner had 133 yrds rushing/1 TD and 60yrds recieving/1 TD.

It depends on how your AI and gameplay settings are laid out. If you're doing a season the Coach's Options affect INT's, stats, and whether you win or lose. If you run 90% and pass 10%, yeah...Etc.

I don't know if that's what you're doing but could be reason for INT's
