My fantasy league holds its draft this Friday. I think everyone knows who the top RBs are, but IMO the real value comes in knowing which other RBs are going to be featured this year and which are not. It seems like this year more than others there are a lot of ?s (or maybe I just haven't been paying attention). I'd appreciate any comments/answers, especially for the teams highlighted in red.

NFCE
Dal: Will J Jones and George split time?
NY: Barber
Phi: Westbrook (now that Buckhaulter is out)
Wash: Portis

NFCN
Chi: Will T Jones and Thomas split time?
Det: Are they going to feature K Jones?
GB: Green
Min: Will Bennett continue to split time with Mo Williams?

NFCS
Atl: Will Duckett and Dunn continue to split time?
Car: Davis
NO: McAllister
TB: Mostly Garner, but Pittman & Alstott will take some carries.

NFCW
AZ: Shipp
SF: Is Barlow the feature back?
Sea: Alexander
Stl: Will S Jackson split time with Faulk or just back-up?

AFCE
Buf: Will Henry and McGahee split time?
Mia: They're not going to feature Minor are they?
NE: Dillon
NY: Will Martin lose carries to Jordan again?

AFCN
Bal: Lewis
Cin: Is Rudy Johnson a feature back?
Cle: Will Suggs & Green split time?
Pit: Will Staley & Bettis split time?

AFCS
Hou: Davis
Ind: James
Jax: Taylor Will G Jones take goal-line carries?
Ten: Is C Brown their starter???

AFCW
Den: Who will start and will he be a feature back?
KC: Holmes
Oak: Are they going to feature Wheatley?
SD: Tomlinson

Thanks for the help!

Really? See, now you know I need help. ;)

Is E Smith going to start? Is he going to be featured or split time?

Only one I know for sure is that Duce will be the starter and they will use Bettis on short yardage situations and 3rd downs...That is what they did last year but Bettis stole the starting job from Amos half way through the year

Rudy Johnson will be the feature back in Cincy, Emmitt will be the man in Arizona and it looks like Mike Anderson is the man in Denver so far, but who knows what Shanahan is thinking.

Really? Cuase Quentin Griffin has started ever pre-season game so far and played well.

ok... I admit that it seems that Quentin Griffith seems to be the man, but after getting off the phone with Shanahan I hear that..... oh sorry... thought I was Mort for a sec there. It does seem Quentin is the man in Denver, but anything can change in that RB by committee that seems to always happen there.

I've read in several places that Miami is looking for a starting RB. They will probably try to deal the 3rd round pick they got from Chicago and are looking at Mike Anderson, James Jackson, and LaMont Jordan.

What do you guys think about Suggs/Green in Cleveland?

And how about Bennett? I think he could be a top 10 back in the league maybe even top 5 if Mo Williams didn't take goal line carries, but I'm afraid he lose out on a lot of TDs again.

Tice is going with Bennett as a feature back. He's quoted as saying that they will only take him out when he gets tired.

i think he'll be singing a different tune when onterrio smith is off suspension, but he's still going to pile up the yards all year.
-i did alot of reading up before my first draft of the season (in 2 leagues), and quentin griffin is projected to be a steal who might be around in the late rounds. was taken 15th overall in one expert draft, but i'm sure the word "expert" gets thrown around too liberally in fantasy sports.
-chris brown is the man in TEN
-Thomas Jones is expected to get Faulk-like touches for Lovie Smith in Chi
-Lee Suggs is looking like the early favorite in Cleveland, but whoever wins the job will win it outright as i understand it; not looking to a comittee
-duckett is projecting to be a 1,000 yard back, and will be king of the goal line in ATL.
-barlow is the man in SF

just some stuff to help out.

i also recommend looking at Yahoo Sports' "NFL Big Board" for a well-done ranking of the top 50.

Tice said it months before Smith's suspension.
