I am attampting to restart my league that I lost to a move 2 years ago from Tampa to PA.
I have several owners already, but need 2 - 4 more to make it more competetive (want to get to 10-12 owners). The format I use is not connected to any of the typical online Fantasy sites (ESPN, CBS, NFL........) and is very competetive, fun, and ACTIVE! The draft will be done online through a chat room that is in the leagues web site and can or will be phone assisted if requested.
It is a points/yardage scoring format with additional points for distance of the score.
There is a fee ($120.00), but there are also 5 prizes. The fees are going to be secured and "visable" at any given time to any and all owners.
Top possible prize if I fill to desired number of owners: 750.00 and that can go up if I get more that expected. (This is based on getting to 10 owners)

I am looking at setting up the Draft for one of the following days based on everyones availability: Sept 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th.

Here are the rules as well as an example of the scoring format:

2004 Fantasy Football League
Rules and Regulations

Draft Rules
1 There will be 20 rounds: 5 minutes on the board for the first 9 rounds and 3 minutes for the last 11 rounds.
2 Draft order will be determined by a Lottery, and will go in order of 1-10, then snake in reverse 11-20.
3 League fees of $120.00 are due on Draft Day. (prior to draft day, I will need your sign up sheets so that I can set the leagues up accordingly, and create the play off formats to be voted on before the draft)
5 Draft Day will be held over Labor Day weekend and will be held in the chat room of the League’s website.

Line up Rules
1 Starting Lines up will consist of 1-QB, 2-RB's, 3-WR's, 1-TE, 1-K, and 1-DEF
2 Starting line up must be in by Saturday at 6pm.
3 If a starting line up is not called/sent in by the dead line, then the starting line up from the previous week will be used. (No line up week 1, no score week 1!)
4 Player positions will be determined by the nfl.com roster information. If a player is listed at more than one position, he can only be played in his primary position.

Roster Transactions
1 At no point in the season can there be more than 20 players on the active roster, and two on the IR
2 All roster transaction will post by Thursday by 8pm.
3 Roster transactions are free and unlimited

Trades
1 Trade requests and approvals must be submitted to the commissioner by 8pm Wednesday.
3 Trade requests must include: player name, position, and team in order to be honored. *In multi player trades, players to be dropped must be included with the trade request.
5 Trades require approval by the Commissioner and one other team owners.
6 Any transactions involving the Commissioner must be done through the Asst. Commissioner or a designated 3rd party
7 The trade deadline will be the Thursday after week 10 - November 18th.

Drop – Add (D-A)
1 From Thursday 8pm until Sunday at 8pm all Drop - Adds will be on a first come first serve basis
2 From Sunday 8pm until Thursday at 8pm, if two or more teams request the same player, the team with the worst record will be granted the D-A.
3 Players added after Thursday 8pm will not be eligible to play that week
4 D-A will be allowed until the transaction deadline on last week of the regular season. (December 9th)

Injured Reserve
1 Each team can place no more than 2 players on the IR list.
2 Injured Reserve will be defined as listed on nfl.com.
3 If a player becomes healthy (no longer on the Injury report) and he is not removed from IR by the Thursday 8pm transaction deadline, he will be made a Free Agent.
4 If a 3rd team member goes onto the IR, the team owner has the option of D-A, or keep that player on the active roster.(players IR are not eligible to start).

Playoffs - Pay-out
1 Number of teams in the Play-offs will be determined on draft day as will the pay out. 2 Tiebreakers will be determined as followed: Head to Head, Head to Head points, total points
3 There will be a bowl game between the 3rd and 4th place teams to determine the third place pay out.
4 There will be a prize for the highest total points from starters over the season.
5 There will also be a prize for the single game highest score from starters

Scoring example:
RB's 6 points for rushing TD between 0-19 yards
9 points for rushing TD between 20-39 yards
12 points for rushing TD between 40-59 yards
16 points for rushing TD between 60-100
12 points for receiving TD between 0-19 yards
16 points for receiving TD between 20-39 yards
20 points for receiving TD between 40-59 yards..............
Basically if a player scores in a manner other than what their position calls for, BONUS!

Score Example: the Play - 2002 Greenbay Packer on the 11, Farve lateral to TE Bubba Franks, pass to QB Farve for a TD.
Score for each of these player was 13 points - 12 for Bubba passing the TD and 1 for 10 yards passing, and 12 to Brett for catching the TD and 1 for 10 yards receiving.
(I know this play well as I had both of them starting in that game)

If anyone might be interested let me know and I can fire over the info via e-mail for your consideration. Really would be nice to have a few Buc fans in an Eagle fan dominated league

As much as I would love to get into this league, I dont think I have the time or resources to make it competitive enough for the $120 stake.
