Asking for opinions on a Trade

I'm in a league with some friends and in this league, we have defensive players as well as offense, instead of just a defensive unit as a whole. My friend offered Drew Bennett of the Titans, I don't know if he'll be number 2 since McCariens is gone, and he's adding Derrick Brooks and Dre Bly. Since I've never really done leagues with Defensive players, I don't really know if those two defensive players would make up the points that Ward would. FYI, my other receivers are Derrick Mason, Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, and Amani Toomer. It's an 8 player league also. Thanks

Are you saying those 3 players for Ward?? No way, You can p/u good def players off the waiver wire all year in a small league. Usually LBs will outscore the other def players unless your scoring is quirky, just keep your eyes on who is doing good. Ward is top 5 wr.
