Does anyone know what the chances are of the Buccaneers wearing the throwback Orange uniform in a game this year? I have seen various teams wear them over the last few years.

Chances are ZILCH!
Owners want nothing to do with proir regime. That's why you've not seen them the last few years when other teams have been wearing Flashback uni's

Never going to happen. If the Glazer's didn't do it for the25th anniversary or any year after, they aren't going to do it this year.
I wish they would though.

There are throwback jerseys of current Pats all over the place up here. You would think even just for the money, the Glaziers would have the Bucs play once in Creamsickle to be able to sell some of those!

i was in philly over the weekend at the mitchell and ness store, and asked the people who workd there about the possibility of another old school bucs jersey. The response was this: as of right now the only bucs jersey we have is the doug williams number 12 but give us about a month or so and there will be another one coming out. Most likely it will be a Number 8 steve young.
for those of us looking for a creamsicle bucs jersey this may be our chance to get one, other than the last 2 mitchell and ness jerseys that were dilfer or williams.

You can order a creamsicle jersey I think from somewhere. Considering that, it's a "personalized" one, so you could put any name/number on it you'd want.
But as for the Bucs management...those things are in the trash. Whenever "throwback weekend" comes up, (usually Thanskgiving Day weekend) the Bucs choose to wear their white-on-white uniforms...a 'throwback' to 1997, the first year of their new uni's.
I think a throwback '96 orange Alstott jersey would be a huge seller. Same with Brooks, maybe Lynch.

Yeah the throwbacks would be a huge moneymaker. I am still not sure why they haven't done it yet? I mean the Patriots weren't exactly awesome during the white helmet/red jersey era.

I would love to see the throwbacks in a real game but they will not be Mitchell & Ness , but the Reebok one's since they have the "On Field" contract.
I would buy one.

It would be cool to have the guys rockin the old Orange and White, but like you all said " if they didn't do anything for the 25th annie for the team, they won't do it all" Sad,but we will be ok.
I just ordered a Reebok jersey from eastbay (Doug Williams). Hey, it may not be a Mitchell and Ness' type jersey, but I will be rockin it when it gets here. Plus you can't beat the price.

I saw the Reebok Selmon and Williams jerseys at the mall.... They're close but it's not the same orange as the old days. The Reebok orange is a little darker or something.

There good enough for me for right now. Just have too many other important things my $$ need to be devoted to.

How great would it be if all the fans in the RayJ came dressed in the throwback jerseys. The creamsicle jerseys blanketing the stands. It would be hilarious!!

I have a feeling that many of todays fans dont have any throw back because they didn't jump on until the pewter and red days.

I've said it before to people who say those were the worst unis in sports history. If the Bucs would have had consistent success and playoff success with those, no one would have thought a thing about them. Instead of being considered ugly, they would have been unique.

If memory serves me right you can purchase the throwback (gridiron classics) jerseys at nflshop.com. I am not sure what players are avialible, but they have hats, hoody's, tee's, and sweat pants as well.
