I passed on the strategy guide. Invariably, that stuff ends up on the Internet as well as the cheat codes. Only cheat I found that works is the weapon one. Not worth using in the early stages.

Finished the drive-by mission last night (mabe the 6th mission). Spent the first day (my first "real world" night, more specifically) wasting folks and raising cash. Also spent some time in the gym and "learned" a new fight move. I suppose it doesn't work until you "learn" it, but you can try.

Hold R1 when in hand to hand combat. It will lock you onyp the target. When the opponent is on the ground, hit triangle repeatedly (while holding R1). You should jump on top and start pounding the guy. There's more, like a charging move. Same deal, sort of. R1, run, triangle when you get close.

I'm guessing you only need to eat when your "fat" gets low.

Sex appeal went up with clothes. You can buy a lot at one time and, although you can't see it, they're with you and can go back to your closet.

Tattoos everywhere. Cornrows.

Still have about $8,000. Yeah, I was real busy killing last night.

The only one I seem to need is the one to clear the wanted stars.

Doing "Copland" in Vice City without the clear code is next to impossible, IMO.

Earning stars in this game is a little harder, at least in the early stages.

You can take out people on your block without accumulating them. even if you get one, the cops never patrol your area. Much like actual gang territory.

I walked into the horse betting parlor in Downtown Los Santos with about $5.....I was up to $10,000 at one point....but finished the night with $2,000.


I also went to the gym and have my CJ about as buff as he can get without any body fat.....everything else (except respect and stamina) is all the way at the bottom though :(

Just got my car all gussied up. Dropped about $6,000 on it. Also maxed the strength and stamina. Not sure what point there is to boxing the guy in the gym after the first time. I keep whipping him, but not learning anything new.

But he does not play it, He likes to play the Xbox.

I had all three at one point, just sold my PS2 to buy another Xbox...

Now I have 1 modded Xbox, 1 unmodded Xbox, and gamecube....

The modded Xbox is the only one that gets touched.... It looks great using the 480P (it supports 720P.. but my HDTV only has up to 480 :mad: )
PS the Xbox has 64mb or Ram (not too bad...but does not compare to a PC)

Just above the word Santos it says Downtown, it is near the bottom right of the interchange. It is actually right across from the parking lot where you met up with everyone while on your bike (one of the 1st or 2nd missions).

I went in to the horse race lastnight, didnt do crap with my $$$, if you have any advice PLEASE let me know, the strat guide doesnt really help with it.

I just got access to San Fierro, lots of hills for some insane jumps, also that real life winding road is in the city and the golden gate bridge, Also dont forget to take that long ride up mt. chilad and then jump off, its crazy your in the air for awhile.

There is a street underneath the four-leaf highway that runs horizontally on your game map or East-to-west on your compas. Follow where the southern part of the four-leaf highway ramps upward and underneath the base of the upward ramp is the street with the horse betting underneath.

Right now I have 95 out of 100 gang tags and trust me, you NEED that strategy book to even get past 20 gang tags on the game. It took me almost 5 hours to get 95 gang tags. I have a hatred for the Ballas gang so I pretty much took over their territory and left them a little spec on the map. Now I am moving in on the two other latin gangs and then I will leave them a little spec of block and let them fight amongst themselves. Boy this game will take a chunk out of your life span, but it is so damn FUN!! lol

What does tagging do for you? Is that how you take territory?

Also rolling with a three man gang. Pretty cool because as you drive through the areas, they'll initiate drive-bys for you.

I dont have the strategy guide with me because I am using a computer that is not located in my house but I do remember most of the game tag locations. By what you described, I am assuming you are looking for the gang tag that is located on the Eastern part of the map in the 'yellow' gang area next to the Racing Forum. This one was tricky for me also because I was looking real hard but the gang tag that your looking for kind of blends in with the wall that its tagged on. You have to look really good for it. I had to wait until the sun came up to actually find the gang tag because it was so hidden with the similar colors. Also to help you out is to look at the little pics in your strategy guide and if you look at the bottom left of the pics and notice the 'N' for North on your compass (it will look like a little bump on the outside of a circle that resembles the compass boundaries) try to situate yourself relatively to what the little pic shows you. For example: if the little bump ('N') on the little pic is showing 12 o'clock (relative to the hand of a 12 hour clock) face towards the north and look for the gang tag. If the 'N' is showing 9 o'clock on the little pic then face East and look for the gang tag. That was the only way I could find some of the hard to find gang tags. REMEMBER: Some of those gang tag markers in your strategy guide are not exactly where they predict it will be. You will have to rely on the little pic (and look at the little map in the little pics compass so you can position yourself to the streets and blocks that your in) to find about 6 or 7 of these gang tags. Thats where I spent most of my time finding these tags because of faulty gang tag markers on the guide. Right now I am down to 2 left of gang tags to go and they are located near the four-leaf highway next to the dog track betting. Hope I helped and have fun, I know I am. :biggrinre

ALSO!! You will notice there are two #79 gang tag markers in your guide. The southern gang tag is NOT #79 but the gang tag marker in the guide is correct so you will find it easily.

Gang tags do 3 things for you.
1. help you get more respect points so that you can recruit more gang members and take them with you if you need to take care of business or take over rival gang territory. Right now I have enough respect to recruit a gang of 8 members and cause havoc on rival gang territories and take them over. NOTE: You need to work out your character at the gym (especially heavy lifting) in order for you to recruit more than 2 guys because I guess they wont respect you as much if you dont look intimidating. They will say stuff like "Nah, Im gonna drink my 40" or "Im still smoking my weed" or some kind of excuse to not go with you. Make sure you max out on your muscle stats to get as many guys to come battle with you.

2. If you get all 100 gang tags completed, you will get a stash of good weapons at your safe house without having to look for these special weapons scattered in secret areas all over the map.

3. It will help you get closer to 100% completion rating.

Gang wars start after the Doberman mission. I dont know what strand you can get Doberman from but I believe its from OG Loc's final mission. After completing the Doberman mission you will have access to all of the Ammu-Nation's in San Andreas. In some Ammu-Nation's, you can go into the shooting gallery and practice shooting targets and build up your characters shooting skills in variying weapons.

By what you described, I am assuming you are looking for the gang tag that is located on the Eastern part of the map in the 'yellow' gang area next to the Racing Forum.

Dude, that is the one, and I totally forgot the guide gives the small pics of the tag locations. I was just relying on the numbered map.

Pool table gambling is right down the street from your Grove Street safe house. Just drive west about 3 or 4 blocks and look to your right (northward) and you will see a bar with Green neon lighting just walk up to the yellow arrow marker and there you go.

Did it once. If you don't jump, and just walk off the edge, you die before you can really open the chute.

I found it in that quad where I was searching for the horse track (up to a million now). You go in a building and it takes you to the helipad. Get the chute, select the chute, jump. I'll look to do it again. Likely, you can guide yoursefl to another rooftop for additional stuff.

Bought safe houses all over the place, which is pretty helpful. Finished Two mission sets (Sweet and the PCP addict). Did a couple Smokey and OG Loc missions. Getting the feeling you guys are way past my stage. Taking the first couple days to stab your way to $20,000 does that.

Pool was okay. Nothing special. You can play in the Ten Green Bottles bar (or whatever). Played the video game at the Johnson House. Nice post-modern statement.

Yeah, I based jumped and it was pretty cool. I got the parachute from that tall skyscraper and then I base jumped and then I went back up to the skyscraper and waited for the chute to re-spawn and then I took it and went south near the airport, jacked a car and drove it near the south east of the airport where there is a brick wall instead of a high barbed wire fence and parked the car next to the brick wall and went out of the car and jumped on the roof of the car and then climbed the brick wall leading to the airplane hanger. I then jacked the dodo and flew it to the western part of the airport runway, landed the dodo and then jacked a private jet and I took that jet and tried to go to Las Venturas illegally and when I flew over Las Venturas land I got a 4 star police pursuit and there was a jet following me and launching homing missles. After the 2nd missle hit my plane, I then jumped out of the jet and used my parachute. I then jacked the nearest car near me because of all the police shooting at me and drove it to the nearest pay-n-spray so that the 4 star pursuit will go away. After I got out of the pay-n-spray I immediately got the 4 star pusuit again and back to the drawing board I go. lol. Next thing I am going to do is do the same thing going to the Desert and jack a helicopter near the Deserts dam and then bring it back to Los Santos and THEN go to the pay-n-spray and go to the safe house and save my helicopter.

I think seducing your g/f is just for novelty purposes. I mean, when ever I go into her house after she asks me if I want some "coffee" (sex) and give her a positive feed back, I noticed that after I am done with her my health that started at 50% remained at the same position after the coffee. NOTE: I found a 2 foot ***** (can I say that on Buccaneer.com? dunno) or to put it lightly, a 2 foot womans double headed pleasure toy in the Police Headquarters. It was so funny when I first picked it up because I didnt think it was a pleasure toy. My first thought was "WOW!! They have boomerangs in this game?!?!" and when I tried to lock on a person and try to throw it it wouldnt launch so I was like "WTF is this?" so after about 15-20 minutes running around Los Santos trying to find something that would activate the "boomerang" I looked closely and said to myself "HEY! That looks like a double sided *****" and then with closer inspection I came to the conclusion that it was a ***** and started laughing my butt off. You will know what I mean when you first see it. It looks like a big purple Australian boomerang. I offered it to my ghetto g/f and she was like "How did you know I like it deep?" so fricken funny.

And for your next question. The easiest way to start a gang war is to jack a 4 door vehicle and then recruit up to 3 of your gang members and all go inside a care and circle around the rival gang members colored territory blocks. Go at a medium speed until your boys start shooting out the window. Once they do that, get out of the car and finish them off yourself and then stick around the same area and run up and down that same street and you will find more coming toward you to back up their boys that you shot down and after that find some cover and take them out so you can take over their block.

So you got all the tags and did all the side jobs? I really doubt you finished the whole game 100%. You probably finished all the story missions but not the rest of the side jobs. I talked to a game tester when I got my game when it came out and he said he put 100 hours into the game and hes at about 70% of finishing everything in the game and thats at the point when the game was first out in stores. If you really finished 100% of the game then I dont think it would be the most boring GTA game you ever played because you obviously were very entertained into finishing EVERY single mission and side job. Also the Vigilante (cop car) and Rescue (Ambulance & Fire Truck) missions are VERY hard side jobs to complete but the Pimping missions are easy. As for me I have been playing everyday for about 5 hours a day and getting every side job done and I just got to San Fierro last night. I started playing GTA: SA since it came out Monday so you do the math.

How do you win money at the racetrack? I lose EVERY single race...there has to be something I'm not doing right, not only that but my horse, without fail, comes in last at least 80% of the time.

Per gamefaqs dot com it states to win money from the horse track is to bet on the worst horse. Do it like 3x and you could win close to a million bucks. If it doesnt work the first time, reload and try again. It worked for me and Ive gotten over a million now...

I always call the triangle Y, square X, X A and circle B, because that's how the Xbox is setup.

I found Catalinas missions to be pretty easy. I did jacknife the gas truck a couple times, and then died a couple times robbing the bank, but other than that it was ok. I did have fun listening to Catalina and Carl go at it non-stop...

I think vice city looks better on my ps2, but that is because its a bit more colorful, San Andreas is all dark though I think it has a little more detail

it looks like they took a lot of the same graphics, made them darker, did a little bit of fine tuning and made a few things look sharper, and then went all out on game play and adding new things to do

For dual wielding guns....you need to max out your ability with them...and not all guns can be dual wielded. I've maxed out my skills with all of my guns, and the only one that I've been able to dual wield so far is the SMG (and it will do it automatically once you are capable).

Driving School is in San Fierro....it is introduced to you early on in a mission.

As for losing your gang territory....I will say that it happens, but I'm not going to be specific as it will ruin the story for you.

Finally got all 100 tags. AK, Tec-9, Molotovs and sawn off now available at the Johnson house. I missed one and had to go check back over to see where I'd missed, took ages. Got a few Oysters and done one insane jump too. Now I can get back to the proper missions.

Have you dated all the girls yet? There is a side job where you can ''court'' I think five or six different women in the game. I'm sure that counts as some of the completion percentage.

There are several buildings (in downtown Los Santos and downtown San Fierro)....or Mount Chiliad....or if you already have a parachute, you can jump out of a plane or helicopter.

IIRC the first one is Takeoff right?

All I can say for that one is never let go of X, pull up the landing gear as quick as possible and try not to move the plane up or down too much, it seems to slow it down

In Los Santos there's an airport to the very south of the island. But you need your pilot's license to get it. Or you could jump over the fence...

To base jump you just get a parachute and jump off and deploy it immediately. There's a parachute on top of the tallest building in Los Santos. You go through the entrance to get on top of it

Usually whenever you get into a plane or helicopter you will recieve a parachute. TO parachute from a plane fly up really high and jump out. But be careful though, i've had times where the parachute wouldn't open

Here are some parachute locations if anyone's interested:

1) On top of tallest building in Los Santos at the Mulholland intersection in
Los Santos. You can enter the building from the bottom by stepping into the
yellow marker. You can also take a bike up and use it to jump off.

2) On top of Mount Chiliad. It's by the parked cars, slightly off the road
and on the rocks. You can take a helicopter up to the top, or take the hard
way and drive up.

3) On top of Big Pointy Building in San Fierro. You can warp up by entering
the doors at the bottom of the building. There is no yellow marker however.

4) On the top of the northern end of the big red bridge, in the northwest
side of the map.

5) On the top of a broadcasting tower in Bone County, Las Venturas, just a
short distance southwest of the restricted area. Walk to the base of the
tower and it'll place you at the top. You can't get back down,
unfortunately, without using the parachute.

6) Entering a plane after obtaining your pilot's license will automatically
give you a parachute.

7) Inside a shack in the desert, there's also a Sanchez sitting near it.
It's just west of the abandoned airstrip.

Yes do the missions and earn your right to stay on the island and proceed through the game. Im not sure if pay and spray would work in your case, but worth a try.

You don't even need to do that. You can just jump over the little building that the guard is in. Just jump from a certain distance and CJ will pull himself onto it.

The flying school is unlocked when you do missions for Mike Toreno. He will ask you to buy it and when you do, you will have to get all bronze in each test to advance any farther in the game

First, head over to Las Venturas with lots of Satchel Charges. When you get there, head for a highway. Wait for a pile-up to happen and when it does, cover the area around it with Satchels. BOOM!

It's an optional mission set. Whenever you started to work for Woozie at the casino you should've seen a "$" logo on the map. Those are Heist missions where you have to rob Caligula's casino and one of the missions has you "meeting" a croupier from Caligula's by the name of Millie. The reason you meet Millie is that at 35% relationship level, you will recieve a keycard that you need for the final Heist mission. The problem for most people is Millie is rarely ever home

Wow...can't believe I did'nt notice this thread sooner... :redfacere

But anyways thought I'd share a few tips on what I've found so far...I don't look at any strategy guides or cheats...so most of you have already figured this out. But...I'm basically a couple missions past when you start the gang wars...still in Los Santos.

As soon as the gang wars came up I was like...I'm taking ovet this entire city before I do any missions. So I did it. After you're done conquering Los Santos, your respect will be maxed out and likely your weapon skill as well, depending on what weapons you use.

The most effective strategy for me with gang wars is one word...GRENADES. Lead then to an open area, they will likely line up single file...and just start hurling grenades, one after another. If you have to pick off a few strays, us the AK. Also, when possible, get on top of a building and just drop grenades on them.

Also, when an area that you already took over comes under attack...don't go to ammunation or save your game while it's flashing red...you'll lose that area automatically.

About weapons...the biggest advantage I've seen when you max out the weapons (hitman) is that you can move while aiming/shooting. Works real well with the SMG, shotgun and AK. Using 2 when you have the mini-smg and sawnoff shotgun is sweet too.

This game is so huge, it's a little daunting...to me atleast. I've been playing it now and then for awhile now, and I have'nt gotten very far at all.

Actually, there is a skyscraper that you can jump off of in Los Santos. I have yet to find it because I don't like going to Los Santos. But just look for a building that has the yellow entrance triangle thing.

Been a while, but it's when you start working for James Woods' character (the feds).

To max out weapon skill (new weapons), blow up cars. You get plenty of hits per vehicle. Quicker than trying to just shoot people.

Yeah...the minute you walk in you are on the top. It works for escaping unless helicopters are shooting at you then you need armor. ;)

DID YOU SEE THIS "GLITCH?"

There's a glitch in the game what make's your map full colored with gang territories.
You can make the territory as yours too.

How to do the glitch:

Take a boat or plane and drive/fly to any direction of the map.

It doesn't matter wich direction you take, WE W NE N Z E ZE etc. We tested it all and it works all 100%. After you flyed enough, simply drown yourself to get back at the hospital. I have spent hours trying every possible direction, vehicle, and method. So yes, it works 100%.

Just keep flying/driving into the ocean.

Flying/driving into any direction will trigger this:

I left my controller on the floor for about 36 hours. Looked at the map, there wheren't any territories. Looked at my stats, there they where.
Drown myself, came from the hospital, the whole map was 100% covered with territories.
I had a total of 178, tried again, no more. I spent hours with testing, 178 was the maximum.
Also it is a knowledge that after a while (over abuot 130 territories) the territories will pop-up much slower.

The things you must know before and after you do the glitch:

-There is a total of 178 territories,I saved, then tried the glitch the next nite to test, no more spawned)
-The shamal and the AT-400 ARE the best vehicles to use for this "glitch"(just leave controller aloneand it will auto-pilot.
-It doesnt matter what direction you go (after i saved, i used a whole nite to test)
-If you want to go longer than ca. 3 hours,

1.You must put after every hour after the 4 hours the life code in or you will die.
2. Before you do the glitch: Eat as much as you can until you're on the fattest point you can be, than, you'll reach ca. 5 and a half hour.

-The longer you go, the more territory(let it run while you sleep).
-The time that it takes to get all 178 territories is for everyone differend, some people had all 178 in 3 hours, others in 6 and 10 and some people have flying for over 16 hours and still don't have them all.
-You cannot just sit out there.
When I was flying the Skimmer out, one territory was added, so I know it was working.
Then I landed the plane and let CJ sit there, so I would not have to put anything on the controller.
It has been about 45 minutes, and no territories.You'll have to keep flying/driving.
-I just looked at my strategy guide (never really did), notice, on page 196 every area with a name is a territory, the territories you get playing regularly are marked with there colors, the rest are in white.....giving an indication, that rock* did obviously know about this and if they didn't, then
brady games did.
-You don't have to die to let this glitch work, you can also drive/fly back, (but that gonna take some time.)
-You DON'T need to have 100% of the territories to do this glitch, but, when you have 100% of the territories, you can do the glitch too.
-It's been known for quite a while now that you do not have to have the territories actually on the map to do this glitch, as stalemate did this immediately after completing the initial bike ride mission and checked his stats and had more than 100 territories.
-You don't have to have completed the final missions where gang wars come back to get it to work.

Some things you must know while doing this glitch:

-At a certain point out at sea, the map gets no smaller.
-If you actualy sit there an pilot your plane for an hour going SE, you will start having to make course corrections because your plane will be slowly urged west.

Some things that happen after the glitch:

-There are more hookers on the street.
-Tornados and some other vehicles pop up often.
-There are crack dealers on the street of the whole state.
-You can see the whole map, even the places you didn't go before. Also notice that every getable safe house in the game is showed red.
-It's been known that in the new territories, there will only be one wave of gangsters.

On Capturing new Territories:

-Ignore Triads (blue Vagos), they show up all over the map but killing them won't get a war.
-Kill only Vagos and Ballas to start wars.
-New territores gotten thru this glitch only have one, easy to kill wave
-Yank gang members out of cars in no ped areas to start wars. Also, don't expect to necessarily get results that are exactly the same as anyone else. We've had many people do this and report back and none of the exact results (what territories are what color, etc) seem to follow much of a pattern.

Q:What is the theory behind this glitch?
A:We think maybe one of these:
- The territories get mixed up as the screen zooms out as you fly/boat away.
- The territories are dragged round because a barrier is being pushed.
- It's supposed to happen and the gangsters are forming new territories.
-You know how when you walk into a gang terrotory the area name (like East Los Santos) turns the color of the gang that's there? (well, sometimes it does). Well I noticed that areas in Las Venturas turning red, then turning back to the normal color. Perhaps this is somehow related that Rock* cut it out of the game.

The last territory is on the far Northwestern part of San Andreas. Near the boating school to the north of San Fierro. The purple color is very faint, but it's there.

Here's a fun thing to do:

Vortex A-Bomb

Go to the Grove and keep spawning Vortexes. Keep in mind that every time you spawn one, you have to put it in the desired location cause if you keep spawning them at the same spot, they'll disappear. Cluster them together in the middle of the circle outside CJ's house. Once you have enough (20-40 of them), throw as many satchel charges ads you can on them. Then climb on a roof, detonate and enjoy!

Then you are wasting your time. When there are no gang colors over the territories you cannot prevoke a gang war. I suspect you need to complete another main mission or two... my best guess.

first off i gotta agree with the guys on page 5 about the hatred of flying. tears were shed and many aspirins found there way to my headaches. i mean the game is grand theft AUTO, not grand theft AIRPLANE. :mad:

to answer some questions i saw:
there is another spray can on top of the building behind cj's garage in ganton. but its much easier to just get the one from the bedroom.

for the question about the 8th trucking mission. go directly across the road and take a right onto the train tracks. that will keep the cops off of you for a little while anyway. its just frustrating that when you go through idlewood on the tracks the police choppers shoot at you and blow up the truck.

the robbery missions are started when you're in the truck that resembles a ups van. wait til about 21:00 and hit the R3 button.

for those having problems with the vigilante mission:
get a police bike and and start the mission (outside the front door or a fast food place, the pizza stack in idlewood worked very good for me), get off the bike and go inside. then just wait until you see the words "threat eliminated" appear on the screen. when that happens go back out and get on the bike so you get more time and a new objective. then keep repeating until level 12 is done. every so often you will have to go back out and get on the bike so your timer doesn't stop the mission for you.

and for the paramedic mission: when you get the ambulance full of passengers do a small crime. this will get you a 1 star wanted level and the cops will try to get you out of the vehicle. make sure they're on the passenger side and go slow so when they pull out the passenger the other 2 get out of the back and the game will think you're at the hospital and you get the credit for saving them. or if you wanna do it the way you're supposed to go to angel pine and try it, the people are almost alway in the same places and you can get a good medic route through town.

sure, i hope you know to start the mission by pressing R3 right? after that just go inside the door and wait. soon you'll see the red marker you're supposed to be chasing move. soon after that it will disappear like you got them and it'll say "threat eliminated" and how much money you get for it. return to your bike and wait a couple seconds for it to tell you your next target then go back inside. remember to keep an eye on the timer at the bottom of the screen telling you how long you have to return to your vehicle or else the mission will end. there will be times when you have to make a couple trips back out to the bike. if you park right beside the front door like i did you can wait til it gets down to about 5-8 seconds left and then go back outside. you might have to try a couple different restuarants to see which one works for you, i had to go to 3 different places before it worked all the way up to level 12.

Ahhhhhhh yes, Supply Lines. I hate that so much, yet I beat it. What I did was a went and made something to eat while it was parked at the starting position and when I came back, they were all relitively close to each other, which made for an easy victory.
about how long were you gone? i tried that idea and sat there waiting for an hour, none of them were close to each other. in fact when i decided to go track them all down i found that all 3 of the delivery vans had gotten stuck in various places throughout the city.

So...you can set it where it plays no radio or you can find a radio station you prefer. Although all of the DJs are pretty annoying, she just happens to be obnoxious and annoying.

...and it's defntly NOT for children. Good call by Airborne to tell me NOT FOR CHILDREN. Entirely an adults' game - you've just got no idea yet. But I enjoyed the game and so did gambit. Just redo some of the options for yourself and you might find it fun as well.

ok, one of my sister's friends played, and used cheats, I didn't know she did. I played after her, and saved.... now everytime I save it says warning, cheats have been activated, we suggest u dont save. I guess it said that the 1st time, but I didnt read it, i just hit ok. will this mess anything up? i went to the stats oage, and it say times cheated:2. will it affect how much I can get done, how much % i can complete?

also, is the 1st islan, the island with CJ's original house, the only island with gang terrertories in the whole game? cause I am like 74 % done, and I passed all the schools, and the on;y odd missions i didnt do that i know of is the trucking ones, and valet, if that counts anything.... also, i dont have 100 with any of my GF's, do they count in the percentage? and are there any odd jobs not on the map, that u see only when u drive ar walk past them? I also found all the cars on all 3 car lists at easter bay.

if you save with cheats activated it will take away a little bit of you 100% completion. i don't know for sure how much but with only 2 cheats saved it won't be very much.

for more gang territories go to the airport and get a good steady plane lit the shamal and fly into any of the 4 corners (someone stated earlier in this thread that it can be any compass point direction but i never tried it like that) and keep checking under gangs in the stats page. when it says 178 or 172 (i forget which) then you'll have all the gang lands unlocked.

the gf's don't count towards the 100%. when i replayed the game this last week or so i just killed all of them at the first chance i got. the yay couriers that cesar calls you about every other day while in SF don't count towards 100% either.

it'll be easier to tell you what you're missing if you tell us what side missions and odd jobs you already have done.

some you already own and the rest you have to win. but they're hard cause you always have trouble finding 3 members of that gang to kill. just keep turning the camera, they'll eventually show up. then its just 1 easy to beat wave of them and its yours.

don't feel so bad about the 100% thing, i accidentally saved after using 59 cheats.

i think thats the mad dog glitch. he jumps from the building in LV before you even get a chance to get the truck you catch him with.

while you're flying keep chacking the gangs part of the stats page. they won't show up on the map until later on. i can't remember if its after you turn around to fly back or if it when you get back to land.

and i noticed while flying southeast that my plane kept wanting to go just east and i had to keep turning it back to southeast.

they look the same as the regualar bollas and vagos. they're hard to find so just keep turning the camera angle and they'll show up eventually.

I finally beat the game yesterday....

I was stuck on that flying mission where you have to stay low to the ground, I eventually just quit trying for a few months....then I came up with the brilliant idea of flying over the ocean on the edges of the map and beat it the first try.
