OK, this guy found out that he is playing me this week. Now he's talking all this smack about my team, assuring me that I'm gonna lose. Do you think that his arguments are valid, or do you think he'll eat crow on Sunday?
My Team

WR- Andre Johnson
WR- D. Givens
WR- K. McCardell (I know, but he's a good receiver nonetheless)
RB- C. Martin
RB- B.J. Sams
TE- L.J. Smith
K- S. Christie
DEF- San Diego
His Team
QB- M. Hasslebeck
WR- Keyshawn Johnson
WR- C. Chambers

Well lets look at the indervidual matchups
QB M. Hasslebeck v D. Culpepper
About even
WR Keyshawn Johnson v Andre Johnson
You win
WR- C. Chambers v D. Givens
He wins
WR- J. Moses v K. McCardell
About even but if anything you get more points
RB- P. Holmes v C. Martin
He wins but not by much
RB- K. Barlow v B.J. Sams
Neither does much
TE- P. Hape v L.J. Smith
You win
K- J. Brown v S. Christie
He wins
DEF- Minnesota San Diego
He wins
Overall He wins (just) but only if Holmes and Culpepper have good games.

(Your team)
QB- D. Culpepper -- At home against the Giants Defence with Randy Moss coming back(in some form). Obviously you need to lean on him to get you most of your points. I would expect 300+ yds and 3 combined TDs.
WR- Andre Johnson -- At home against the Jaguars Defence with Dominick Davis back healthy. I would have to Johnson will get some good stats but not great. I would really go with carr though. And though I like the Jags defence; it has been beatable lately. I say that Johnson's biggest enemny is Davis who will take some receiving yds away. Good game for Johnson though.
WR- D. Givens -- Going to Pittsburgh. I don't know about you but this seems to be the game that the Pats finally lose! Even if they don't though you can't trust ANY patriot receiver. Brady only throws 1-2 TDs so I don't think odds are in your favor that Givens gets more than 60 yds.
WR- K. McCardell -- After he had 5 catches 65 yds I think he is ready. At least he doesn't have to go to the black hole. And with all the turnovers the Oakland offence gives away, Keenan could get a short TD. So anything goes here
RB- C. Martin -- Monday Night Football, Miami comes to the Meadow Lands. I can here the music. And I can see Martin scoring a least once. Now if this was 1:00 sept in miami that is a different story. But I think Martin will do good.
RB- B.J. Sams -- You better hope he returns one.
TE- L.J. Smith -- Agaisnt Baltimore. Don't look for to much. The one thing you do have going for you is that Westbrook won't be catching as much. So smith should get more looks.
DEF- San Diego -- Nice little pick here. I think that SD gets around 3 turnovers and gives up 10-17 points. Which isn't to bad.
(His Team)
QB- M. Hasslebeck -- No telling. Either a good Hasslebeck or a terrible Hasslebeck will show up.
WR- Keyshawn Johnson -- Keyshawn doesn't score or get yac.
WR- C. Chambers -- His may have another huge game on MNF. But that is a 30% chance at best. I think he will be ALL or NONE though.
WR- J. Moses -- ???????
RB- P. Holmes -- Man here is the killer. A easy 3-5 TD day it looks like.
RB- K. Barlow -- Good matchup for barlow
TE- P. Hape -- Not much here either.
DEF- Minnesota -- He can't expect to much.
Let's just say I would take your team over his. I think it is you who could really trump him!!!

yeah he's got a better team, but if Culpepper can put up another 5 td performance you'll be in good shape.

Hasselbeck is not that good, even when his WR's do catch the ball
MIN may have the worst defense in the NFL, and they play a Giant team that has a potent offense...Tiki barber, Warner, etc...
The Chargers play an anemic OAK offense, and will control most of that game with LT...
Hasselbeck is about as good as Culpepper so that about even.
LT is offensive player

LT is an offensive player, exactly...So SD's defense will not be on the field that long...And even when they are, they are playing OAK
You don't earn fantacy points by being off the field.
Why is the fact there playing OAK important?

I would guess that the defense that gives up the fewest yards and points wins that...
points yes, yards no...
Tehy get most of their points from turnovers, sacks and TDs...

WR- Keyshawn Johnson -- Keyshawn doesn't score or get yac.
you sure about that--I have him now on my team(added him last Friday), he did quite well yesterday. I also added McGahee Sunday morning and that paid off too as well. I didnt think I had a chance against a team with T. Green and Tomlinson, but my team pulled through. Thankgoodness I get Bulger and Jamel Lewis back next week--I dont like heartattacks and having to depend on Keyshawn, even if he did play good enough for me.
