Who all has been surprizes/steals do you guys think?

I picked Emmitt Smith in like the 7th round or so, and saddly enough, I'm actually starting him as my #2 RB. He has been producing for me a tad above average, I was more than surprized actually.

Also, I'm no Bulger fan, but I picked him up in the 5th round and he puts up HUGE numbers each week (usually). I think he was a def. steal for the 5th round.

Does anyone else have any surprizes or steals?

Free Agents I've picked up:
Rothlesburger, Brees, Clayton, and Chris Brown

I'm sure I have others and some people I have drafted in later rounds, but too lazy too look them up and those are the only ones that stick out in my mind

I got Thomas Jones as a FA and recently grabbed Clayton. Also, I drafted Anquan Boldin, later dropped him when his injury linegred. and he was still available when he got healthy. I hope he gets back to his ROTY form quickly.

You think taking Bulger in the 5th was a steal? And you actually drafted Emmitt? Those aren't steals. Yoo lucked out that they ended up being good players. Smith should have been a free agent pick up, and Bulger MUCH later in the draft. Unless you have 15+ teams in your league.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Tiki Barber yet. I haven't got him but I can't imagine anyone else picked him too early? He's put up AMAZING all-purpose offensive numbers this year.

What about busts? I grabbed Quentin Griffin, with the exception of week 1 - he was a HUGE bust. He's on the IR now anyone, he's long gone from my team.

I have 3 teams and in each one I drafted Clayton and i caught **** from everyone saying he wouldnt play. I got him towards the end of each draft anyways, so if he didnt play it wasnt a huge loss. He has turned out to be amazing. I also got roethlisberger, Marcus Robinson, and Stokley

With Ahman Green, Cris Brown, and Fred Taylor out this week on my team I picked up Anthony Thomas and Pittman and started them. :D Does that count as a Suprize steal for the week?

Stupid adam venitarie has me behind still though. I still have my money maker tonight, come on UCF man, do it for the Alumni.

Actually, if you just looked at the Rams situation w/their RB (Faulk getting old), the OL not what it used to be, the D sucking so the O will get behind and have to come back.. Bulger will put up big numbers. Also, Martz is extremely Pass happy.. they've shown his ratio's on MNF, NFL Network, Magazines, etc. He is extremely Pass Happy.

Taking all that in, I drafted Bulger in the 5th.

The only reason i picked up Emmitt is because a 1 person took 4 RB's with their first 4 picks, another person took 3 RB's with his first 3 picks, and about 5 people took 2 RB's with their first few picks. So seeing Emmitt Smith in the 7th knowing that the Cards had RB Injuries and he was scheduled to start..

Not to mention that he is proving that he still has a little juice left in him.
