I am in a free Yahoo league. I recently dropped Michael Pittman and my backup QB so I could pick up some WR backups to help out my WRs since some were injured or on a bye. This is what I have now:

Terrell Owens
Torry Holt
Anquan Boldin (just got him back from injury)
Michael Clayton
Roy Williams
Donald Driver
David Givens
Rod Gardner

I know, I know... a lot of WRs. Owens is of course a no-brainer. Torry Holt is considered a top 10 WR but his numbers have not been great. Boldin was ROTY last season I do believe but he just got back from an injury. Michael Clayton has had pretty good games since our QB situation has leveled itself out. Roy Williams was looking like a ROTY candidate until he got hurt, now he is not starting consistently. Driver, Givens, and Gardner were three guys still available when I needed help. I don't know who I should drop to get back some depth at RB.

Available RBs are Jerome Bettis, William Green, Eddie George, Michael Pittman and Derrick Blaylock. Who should I drop and who should I pick up?

I figure I should drop two WRs and get two RBs. Whaddayathink?

I think you have just WAY too many WRs... exactly how many roster spots do you have in your league?

I admitted to having too many WRs. I have so many because so many players on my roster were either injured or on a bye and I needed some players. My problem is now, I am having a hard time choosing who to get rid of, since they all seem to be producing about the same.

As far as my league goes, the starting lineup consists of 1 QB, 2 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 TE, 1 WR/TE, 1 WR/RB, 1 K, 3 D-players. Then you have 6 bench spots. A total of 18 spots.

Driver, Givens, and Gardner were three guys still available when I needed help.

I think you answered you question on who to drop there, i would probably drop gardner first, then a toss up between the other two and maybe even boldin though he had a good first game back

I think I would go with Gardner, and then look at how Driver vs Givens are doing and what I think they would do

As far as who to pick up, I'd go with Pittman since he is a starter and could get you maybe like 70/70 rushing recieving and maybe a touchdown, so maybe get like 3 - 10 points a week

after that its tough, bettis is all or nothing so if you need a big homerun then there he is, william green i am not sure if he is still starting but would be a decent bet and then there is eddie george who could give you points

out of those three for points every time, if green is a defenate starter i'd go with him, otherwise george and i'd feel bad when bettis scores three touchdowns one week but forget about him when he doesn't get any points the next two

Drop Rod Gardner and David Givens and pick up Williams Green and Michael Pittman because of those RBs, they get the most carries.

Dropping Givens would not of been great advice...he has had three consecutive 100 yrd games plus a few TD's . I know Pittman has done good. I have both Givens and Pitt.

I got Pittman... after the game was over. lol

I picked up Anthony Thomas since TJ is out. That was a good pickup. I ened up having a bad week though. I have McNabb as my QB and Terrell Owens as my starting WR. They had a very lackluster performance. Also, I had Priest Holmes, who was very well contained by our BUCS D and Curtis Martin, both hekd in check. Very bad week for all my starters. I am counting on my kicker to score about 40 points tonight. hehe

(gonna lose big this week, but I will still hold first place in my league)
