Ok, for the past 3 weeks i've started Pittman. For the last 2 weeks I've cashed in on it (the week be4 was decent for him and last week was huge). The question is whether or not to start Pittman or Bettis. Staley is questionable and not expected to play on Sunday. Bettis is probable and is going up vs the Browns D.. Also, the Pittsburg OL will be pumped up because of Warren threatening Rothlisberger..

Pittman is healthy and going up agains the Falcons as we know. For the past few weeks Pittman has been showing that he can be my #2 RB (Jamal Lewis is my #1). Honestly, I don't know what to expect out of him come this Sunday. Is he getting hot and going to keep this up against the Falcons coming off a Bye week with their DL healthy again? Or will he just get about 60 yards passing and recieving and no TD's?

Bettis has asthma and is already listed as probable. Lets not forget he's 32 years old also. He'll be starting but at some point he usually comes out for a series or two to catch his breathe. He could easily get 100 yards rushing and 1-2 TD's or he could flop like Pittman could and end up with 50 yards rushing (+/- 20/10 yards)..

I'm completely stumped about who I should start. I'm actually leaning towards Pittman because he's getting hot, but then again, so are the Steelers and their OL.

Someone please help!

Pittman seems like a better choice. I think that if the Browns can contain Lewis, they can hold Bettis. But just like I tell Pittman owners: he may not have as good a week as last week, but he may get 100 all purpose yards and maybe a TD. The Steelers may be on fire, but so is Pittman and the Bucs Offense. I'd go with Pittman.

Of those backs I would def. go with Pitt for the second back. I was trying to figure out if I should start him too. Im not going to just because I have some better (maybe) options. I think with the pass D being so poor for the Falcons, we're going to rip it open and set up Pitt for a decent game.

I didnt know Bettis had asthma either...I'm more impressed by him now. Fat, old, and asthmatic and still doing what he did...

Yea, I'm goin with Pittman, just feels wierd after how bad the O started out this season. I like that Pittman is a recieving threat as well, a lot of other starting RB's in the league don't have that also as an impact.

The thing w/Bettis is, if the Steelers get up in points like they have been with Ward, Burress, and Randle El (sp), that is when Bettis gets a lot of carries. That is when he'll stack up yards and TD's.

p.s. Good job not tripping over your own feel Pittman, keep it up!
