With the lock out I decided to play an imaginary nhl on my playstation 2

I'm just about to start the playoffs here are the seeding:

EAST
1. Devils
2. Leafs
3. Bolts
4. Flyers
5. Islanders
6. Rangers
7. Senators
8. Thrashers

WEST
1. Red Wings
2. Stars
3. Avas
4. Sharks
5. Blues
6. Oilers
7. Kings
8. Ducks

i finished my first season as the Senators. Hossa finished with 70 points and Redden with 56. I finished first overall in the NHL.

im now starting the playoffs against Pittsburgh.

LOL! That was my first thought too. Maybe when you start up the game just just see a bunch of guys with missing teeth sitting around watching football. :D

EA NHL 2005 is horrible. ESPN NHL Hockey 2005 is the best, and it gets better as St.Louis is on the cover. The game is far superior to EA's, both in the in-game and franchise mode.

EA NHL 2005 is horrible. ESPN NHL Hockey 2005 is the best, and it gets better as St.Louis is on the cover. The game is far superior to EA's, both in the in-game and franchise mode.

Good call. Except the fights in ESPN are far worse but I still dont like the EA version. Also when you play someone decent in ESPN the scores are like 15-12 in 3 minute periods and the defensive and goalie stats are juiced. I've never figured that out.
