So I have 200 extra bucks and rather than save it for my upcoming year of college, I'm thinking of picking up a new portable system.
Problem is, which one? PSP looks better for graphics/control/slashes, but DS looks good for everything else... I have no clue and I'm hoping you guys can give me some educated opinions.
I could always just preorder the 360 also...
Let me know guys.

PSP hands down. PSP is an everything machine. No matter what you do on the road, you will find something to do with the PSP when you have nothing to do. Games, Movies, Music, Pictures the PSP will do. The Nintendo DS is a kids toy compared to PSP.

It's this simple...
DS sucks ***, PSP kicks ***.

Depends how long you're on the road....odds are, the PSP will poop out before you get anywhere.

DS....
Better games and battery life and cheaper. Yes PSP has great graphics, but if you dont know anything about emulation its worthless. You can play there same games on a regular playstation. There is nothing really innovative about it. On the real I would save for college though. Im in college now (go noles) and Im lovin it. More than likely your going to need that extra cheese sometimes on things like laundry and gas if you drive.

It's rechargable, 3 hour battery life, so your gonna be charging it alot, and I dunno if you pay for your electric bill, but its gonna shoot up if you play PSP often.

You act like the charger draws a lot of volts.

Thats not the point, PSP is very high maintence and there is a cost to everything. Plus, 50 dollar games for a portable system? Forget that.

It seemed to be the point. The reason the games cost 50 bucks is because they are very high quality. It's a PS2 just handheld.....hence the name
