Wow, that was quick.

Since we have a full league already, what would be the chances of sliding up the draft a bit? Might lead to some preseason trades and interesting picks on sleepers. I am in either way, but I wouldn't mind an earlier draft...

I just checked this league page, and aparently one of our owners quit. To do a live draft we need to have an even number of teams. So someone please join. And the draft time has been changed...to 7AM out here in Los Angeles.

Hey everyone, please note the league draft is Saturday at 10 am.

This was changed from 5pm because it was bumping up a little too close to the Bucs-Fins game. Unfortunately 10am was the latest I could get on Saturday (I guess the other times were filled up by other leagues, I don't know).

We have an even 16 teams (the max) so we have no more spots to fill.

Also - if you cannot make the draft - RANK YOUR PLAYERS. If you fail to do so, you will get hosed by Yahoo. Trust me, I've seen this already in one of the other leagues I've been in (Rex Grossman in the 5th rd, for instance).

With 16 teams, good players will be at a premium. Good luck!

Well since I was on a two week vacation and come back last night just, I get on the computer all ready this morning (thanks to my palm pilot alarm) just to set up my pre-draft rankings for Saturday nights draft only to have my team already picked. We have been signed up for 2 months and the draft time is changed in the last two weeks. Man that is weak. If you change a draft time in a league of 16 players, you change it to a later time, not earlier. Nice way to get a leg up on everyone else...

Wow you handled this in a very mature manner. In a free league, just for fun, you got a weak team. Big deal don't be a baby about it and not start any one, try making a trade for a RB then your team will be fine. Using the "I am taking MY ball and going home" additude is weak and makes the league a little bit worse. Even if you dont plan on keeping up with your team, at least start a team as opposed to leaving everyone of your players on the bench.

The league is worse because the draft was moved up. From the email I sent 2 other people have already replied and said the same thing about the draft change. The main part of fantasy football is the draft, we have been registered since June and the draft date was set.
I never said I was not going to start my team, I always put all my players on the bench until a game. Even with the draft time change shaft I'll still be able to compete in a couple of games, but it will be like a "bye" week for most.
