The funny thing about Madden, is a guy like Derrick Brooks just doesn't get a lot of sacks, but due to his rating in the game, you sim a season, and he does. Rice is not good against the run particularly, but in the game, he is.

When I go into practice mode, Rice is usually right there making a tackle on my RB. It's like he's everywhere.

I dont think it matters...usually they rate teams based on the overall of the players on that particular team. So for example: The Colts offense would be rated high 90's because of ratings from Manning (probably 99 overall), Edge (upper 90's), Marvin (96-98), Reggie Wayne (90-94) etc. and you will see the Vikings drop from what could've possibly been a 92-93 rated offense because of the departure of Moss (overall rating for Moss probably 96-98).
