Say what you will about the pick or the player, but I saw Freeman at camp and as recently as three weeks ago and in no way is he fat. A freakishly large young man? Yes. Fat? Not even close.

JJ will start a game before the season is done!

The Big Human will stink it up and Rah will have to pull
him and put in JJ, then start JJ the next game.
I don't know when it will happen, but about the 13-14
game range.

Just my 4 cents!

Freeman is listed at 6-foot-6, 248 pounds on the team roster. The Pewter Report staff has noticed that Freeman has gotten bulkier since May when he debuted at the team's rookie mini-camp.

"He's probably 265 pounds," Olson said. "He's right in there. He's big. He's more than [the 248 listed on the roster]. He's probably 260. He's at least 260."

When asked if Freeman is currently overweight, Olson said, "No."

Take it however you want.....he's a fatty.
I saw this too earlier, but seeing him in the game he didn't look fat at all....So it's a non issue unless he is not conditioned and we see him vomiting on the sidelines after running around.

I think we stay behind the rookie, it won't be a camp battle next year.

They may take our lives, but they will never take our Freeman?

So you think we'll give up on a 1st round QB that is supposed to be our QBOTF within 7 starts?

Too many IF's. Let's just give him a chance before we bury him, eh?

Didn't even bother reading iggied first post/grunching. But I would suspect that a sound and well-reasoned argument would be the key. They exist.

JJ is by far the better QB. The only reason I'm happy they are putting Freeman in now is so the casuals will see just how bad he looks. Since they obviously didn't see it this preseason. The one thing I don't want is to wait till next year to hand him the starting job effectively wasting another season.

Will you be a casual fan when it turns out that JJ is not the better qb?

I'm just amazed...
I bet he'd do much better one almost any other team. I'm not a fan, but the Raiders can make anyone look horrible.
