Cited for the accident, not for driving impaired.

But I'm sorry common sense isn't convenient to your argument.

Hmm....always a great argument. Oh no wait, it's lazy and baseless. It's like the casual fan label of the team discussions board. You got no other leg to stand on, and you just throw it out there.

I don't care if Bobby Bowden himself did this, it's perfectly legal.

There's no jock-hanging. He doesn't have character concerns; this was a mistake. If it happens again, then it will be worth noting.

Either...

A) His story is true.
B) He is a bad driver.
C) He got distracted/wasn't paying attention/dozed off and had the accident.

The booze isn't an issue either way....and this isn't really a story unless he has a history of this or continues doing this type of thing.

Not really concerned about this incident. It's worth noting, but not really a GIANT deal.

Still worth the number one overall at this point.

Exactly.

This incident is nothing more than something that happens everyday to innocent people. Just a driving accident.

Alcohol is involved, which is of note. But, there is no history of abuse and no pattern of being Talib-esque.

Indeed.

Which is what I was saying from the get-go. This isn't a problem..... but very well could develop into a problem. We'd be wise to monitor this.

My guess is that Suh himself knew that, and that's why he was on the back streets.... to avoid any police watching the main arteries at 3 am. He got lucky this time.

You are losing major credibility by continuing to push this idiotic agenda.
Hell of a "guess". Kinda ironic that you question the credibility of other posters, don't you think?

And of course, that's clearly what happened in Suh's case...

I agree with anyone who says this is bad judgment.

I disagree with anyone who says this should affect his draft status in the slightest.

And anyone who knows the streets of Lincoln knows how possible it is to do this. Almost all the sidestreets have this six feet of grass between the sidewalk and the street, and it becomes single-lane driving if there are cars on each side. Actually, if you're talking larger vehicles, it can only take one larger vehicle parked to the side. Driving through these side-streets can feel less like driving and more like an elaborate docking manuever. So if he did have to cut his wheel to avoid a critter, I'm not surprised in the least he smacked something.

Anyway, Suh as A+ Character. Anyone that doesn't want to draft him because of THIS would do us all a favor by applying for a job with the Falcons or Panthers front office.

This is so clearly a non-issue that I will be surprised if it is even mentioned when the combine and draft roll around. But, if we can draft Suh and pass on him because of this, then everyone in the Bucs FO needs to get lined up in the street and beaten with a hotmop.

Yeah, I would bet money this doesn't even qualify as a trivia question come draft time.

In a related story, if things "fall into place" for us to get Suh on draft day, I will be holding a Suh party at my house. All are invited.
