I thought Lo Neal just signed an extension.
Although they aren't scheduled to be FA as of right now, it wouldn't surprise me to see Harrington and/or Grossman on the market next year. Let's hope they don't end up here.

Jamal Lewis would be one of the worst pick ups we could make...Seriously.

Unless they re-sign with their teams...IMO we should go after two guys...David Carr and
Antwaan Randel-El....

re-sign Hovan and Bryant and Gooch...

Our biggest areas of concern are:

QB- don't know where help will come from
Tackle- 1st round pick
Guard- somewhere in the draft
CB- second round pick
DE- somewhere in the draft

There's no QB in this draft we will be in position to take who will be any good..So either go after Carr or leave it alone another year...The line needs major help..And we need a YOUNG guy to come in behind Kelly and Barber..If we go after Woodson, it would be a mistake..Guy is old and injury prone.

We need to use our Draft Picks mostly on Defense. Because M'cFarland, Rice and who knows who else will be gone next year. We should have resigned Gold. We also need to bring in some Guys who will Contribute to our O-Line, and Special Teams. Why can't we get a Kick returner that can take one back for a TD??

I say make a play for John Abraham. Just like PassDaBuc said Rice won't be back................but I think they should make Booger take a pay cut and move him back to NT and find a pass rushing DT.

Also, Julian Petersen would be a nice pick up. He could eventually take over for Brooks.

Wouldn't mind having Reggie Wayne either. Also like Tony Richardson.

i'm thinking we should sign Ricky Proehl just so he will stop killing us....

Abraham is going to want a crap load of money...something we should spend on the OLine.....

Yeah I'm tired of him pulling out the big plays. If we can't stop him...have him join us.

As far as Free Agenst go, I like OG's Hutchinson (Seattle) and Bentley (San Antonio). They're both pro-bowl caliber guys and would provide some spark to the unit. Also, they're just reaching their primes.

The draft should yield us some defensive guys. I like Chad Greenway, Abdul Hodge, Ernie Simms, A.J. Hawk, and Parys Haralson. We need some more youth at LB, DE, and CB.

We don't need to pickup another QB...we have four, and two are untested in this offense
and I don't care who the QB is he better be able to work in this system. Gruden does not change his way of doing things to fit the strengths of his QB, but that the QB has to fit his offense. Ain't gonna happen. I have said that our greatest need of this team is O-line. I said it before the draft and continue to say it. A lot of guys on this board beat me up pretty bad disputing this need crying that we needed skill players such as running backs and wide receivers. Well we got them and now they can't get going for the lack of blocking. I would trade Carnell Williams for a couple of decent college O-lineman right now. We have wasted a very good defense on our inability to score points. Whenever we finished playing with the bum of the week schedule, we fell apart....and we ain't done. Maybe we have a chance for one more win...maybe!

Sign Jamal Lewis? Trade Carnell? Have I missed something? I mean I didn't see the game yesterday, but dang! The admins would ban me if they know what kind of profanity I was THINKING right now. Just what the frack is Jamal Jailtime doing behind his POS line in Baltimore right now? What's wrong with you people?

A pretty bleak prediction and a rediculous proposal of a trade. Our OL is young as well and it's only natural that they feel some growing pains. I expected some trouble somewhere down the road. The thing is that they have potential to improve just as Simms does. I'm not giving up yet!

As far as Free Agenst go, see my last post.

Uhm, yeah.. Let's pick up the highest rated players in Madden regardless of position or need. GREAT idea.

What are you, twelve?

Of the ones that weren'tb old, J.Garcia caught my eye, so did D.Carr. Also FB F.Beasley (49ers) could be a huge improvement. He is a very good FB. But it's possible all the guys that I listed will be re-signed.

You say we need help in "different places," yet you highlight three kickers. If anything, our current kicking squad is the least of our troubles.

Beasley would be a huge improvment over what? I don't think he'd be an improvment over Jameel Cook much less Mike Allstott and if A-Train retires you can bet Rick Razzano takes over the starting duties.

As for the Ks on your list, theres as much chance of NE and INDY letting Vinatieri and Vanderjagt go as Angelina Jolie has at being signed to return punts.

You guys still do know that the salary cap is in effect next season... Things like getting Tony Richardson, Adam Viniateri and Julian Peterson... wake up guys!

Our needs going into the next offseason will be (in no particular order):
QB
Tackle
DE
ROLB
CB (possibly x2)

Hopefully we'll be able to take care of tackle via FA.

I think we will draft CB, DE or LB (depending on who's available) w/ our first rounder. I expect that the other two will be taken care of with our first two draft picks the draft after. I also expect us to draft Qb w/ our 2nd rounder.

Our future needs will be:
Center
WR
DT
(another) DE
and possibly FB (or a big RB).

Steve Hutchinson might as well be scratched off that list. If he doesn't sign long-term, he's a sure bet for the franchise tag.

Did they sign Walter Jones to a long-term deal? I believe they may have too much money tied up already and don't they need to sign Alexander too?

We have plenty of cap room. Reinfeldt and Ruskell have done an excellent job of not overpaying for players, like Ken Lucas and Chike Okeafor. Instead going for guys that make half as much (Dyson, Herndon and Fisher.) Right now we have around 12 million tied up in players that were released after June 1, all that will come off the books.

I'd rather have Bentley anyway. He's got more attitude and would deplete the Saints' OL a little if we could nab him. He may want out of that mess in San Antonio as well.

I think we can enhance our defense with free agency but we need to draft a good mean run stopper. Our o-line is so young as it is - I'm sure some of you may be thinking. Truth is, no on has shown that much. Maybe we don't have a good fit, yet. Kenyatta has talent but I think he gets lazy sometimes. I wish he would become a leader for those guys.

Larry Tripplett(DT) - Indianapolis
Mike Pearson(OT) - Jacksonville
David Givens(WR) - New England
Troy Brown(WR) - New England
Tim Dwight(WR) - New England
