Who do you want to see signed?

We've seen where alot of guys are going today........who do you want to see igned of whos left?

1- Vinatieri - the guy is clutch and an upgrade over bryant and for whatever reason theres not alot of rumors going around about any of the kickers.

2- Ashworth/Runyan/Hopkins - obviously we need some OT's and these guys seem suited for RT alothough they can play both. Maybe a LT in the draft seems like theyre setting up to take one later than rd1.

3- WR - not a whole lot out there that i like anymore but im sure we can unearth someone, or possibly in the draft? maybe holmes if he falls?

4- Jaime Winborn - when this guy is healthy he is a playmaker.....sign him to an incentive laden cheap deal and put him out there at strong side......maybe ben leber (more of a 3-4 guy but i think hed work as our strong side since theyre only on for the 1st two snaps).

Think that fill our most pressing needs and we can fill our CB and DL spots through the draft.

I like Runyan's skills and mean streak but he is a little long in the tooth and I thought the Bucs have had their share of aging players.

With Bentley gone, and a Buc long shot to begin with, Vinatieri is my Buc target now.

With the other rumored PK FA interest of the Bucs, Ryan Longwell, signing with the Vikes this afternoon, Vinatieri is the best option out there.

According to Pewter Report's Jim Flynn on Runyan...

I talked to his agent today. He's not scheduled to visit the Bucs.

Arrow Please sign Vinateri and.......

Ashworth then we can use the draft to sure up other needed areas like LB,Mcneil on OL, WO, S. Thats a realatively cheap way and hopefully next year we will some Good WO's either in FA or draft.

Walker and Hopkins along with a OT in the second round, such as Daryn Colledge or Andrew Whitworth. There's probably no better option at RT right now than 'Yatta. He's still young and hasn't been the worst player we've had. Signing Hopkins will allow us to bring along a new guy slowly.

I'd love to sign Mr. Clutch, Adam Vinateri and Ashworth. Two pats coming to the bucs, winning formula.

Vinatieri will cost some major money (for a kicker) to sign. I've heard Dallas will be interested in him, as will any team who doesn't have one of the top 5 (or so) kickers.
I hope we put every effort into getting him. As much as I hate the Pats, I like him. I'd like to root for him for once.

And getting a Vinatieri Buc's jersey would give the people I work with up here in N.E. a kick in the ***.

Best news I've gotten all day.

I've had enough of these aging OL signings. GruAllen seem to be getting the hang of their gigs.

Hopefully Ashworth gets a good offer from us. Methinks he'd be a great start to an offseason. After him.... maybe take a look at Julian Peterson or make a play for another CB. Sending some feelers out for Woodson and Law wouldn't be a bad idea if one of them bites.

He could make that move to FS play center field looks like he gets 10 more ints this year in the cover 2

???

No.

Methinks I'd rather see him play CB and have Ronde line up at his usual nickel spot. That line of defense works well for us. And take Law out when we sub in the SLB, and slide Barber to CB.

Kinda like what Deion Sanders did for the Ravens.

Law would cost us more than Woodson. Woodson is probley the only Corner we would sign this FA.

Woodson would be a longer term player than Law, which is better. I just figured that Woodson would be looking for more guaranteed money.

Maybe not.

Who knows?

I wouldnt want him, im just saying since Gruden used to coach him, he is the most likely to be signed by us.

Easy... you turn off the salary cap option on Madden and WHAM... he's on the team...

Come on N4L, you gotta know better than that!

Free agents - David Thorton and Tom Ashworth.

Draft - best tackle avail + Mahelona + Alan Zemartis.

then we're set.

I pretty much agree. Runyan or Ashworth would be great as RT, then Hartwig to solidify guard (move Mahan to center).

I'm starting to doubt that Kiwi will fall past the Broncos 1st pick, so now I'm hoping we'll have McNeill.

That would give us a monster of a line, and a make Caddy and Simms much more comfortable.

I love Maholena, he's the last piece this defense needs IMO, and then any solid cover-2 corners will do in rounds 3 and 4.

I'd really like to see what Randle El could do in Grudens system, plus his return ability would be much needed.

What is with the love of Randle El?? Really I don't get it and I tend to think I have a pretty good background in the arena of football. Is he a DECENT player, yes, but a stud that so many people are making him out to be, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
