no1bucsfan29 mock draft, all 10 picks

round one:C: Nick Mangold. OHIO ST. Top center in the draft, and one of the best talents available in the offensive line prospects. Could start right away, very smart player with tons of upside, could anchor our line for the next 10 years.

round two:CB: Danieal Manning.ABILENE CHRISTIAN. Great prospect at corner. Still a little raw but can learn behind 2 of the best for the next couple seasons before being needed to step in, would be great on special teams right away. Great leaping ability, great hands for the INT. and isn't afraid to be physicial, loves to play the run. (remind you of anyone?)

round three:FB: Lawrence Vickers. COLORADO. Alstott 2.0, not the best blocker but has great hands and can run people over.

round four:OT: Guy Whimper. EAST CAROLINA. Big kid with a ton of potential, still raw and needs to be taught, on the upside, he hasn't developed bad habits yet. Excellent footwark and can pull, natural athlete. Ran a 4.90 40, so he has the speed and quickness to get outside and help block.

round five: DE: Ryan LaCasse:SYRACUSE. Great speed, quick off the snap, he's raw, but if he's there in the fifth, how can you pass him up, may just be situational, but if he can get a little stronger, could one day be a starter.

round six:WR: Drouzon Quillen. LOUISIANNA-MONROE. He's 6'6", 215 lbs. still ran a 4.55 40. Good hands, great verticle leap, not afraid to go over the middle, he's a younger, faster version of Keyshaun, without the **** poor attitude, already has a family so isn't just fighting for himself, he's got mouths to feed at home so he knows he needs a job. Will do whatever it takes to get better, a true team player.

round six:OLB: Brandon Johnson. LOIUSVILLE. Raw, but fast with natural talent, can play sideline to sideline with a 4.40 40 yd dash. Could start on special teams, solid depth and could one day be a starter if he puts in the work.

Round seven:QB: Bruce Eugene:GRAMBLING ST. Tons of upside if he can keep his eating under control, has shown that he wants to be healthy, great arm strength and accuracy, should have been a second/third rounder if not for his eating disorder and the fact that he is just over six feet tall.

round seven:OT/OG:Willie Colon. HOFSTRA. Can play mulitple postiions but never really stood out at any one position. Solid player wth agility, very strong, solid line depth.

round seven:S: Willie Andrews:BAYLOR. Fast kid that can lay someone out. Raw, needs to be developed, could also play corner with his speed alone. Special teams wonder, and solid backup at safety.

***Edited to add in the prospects colleges by request.***

Pretty good. At the risk of sounding ungrateful, could you list the colleges for them? Please.

How did you know about Drouzon?

lol, no, im not gonna go back and do the colleges, not tonight anyway, unless I get really really bored.

I actually made a post about Drouzen 3 or 4 weeks ago. I found is scouting report on nfldraftcountdown.com and liked what I read, I've been on his bandwagon ever since.

It looks like we have a lot of smaller school players in your mock draft. I guess our scouting department would have to be about ever par with the best of them.

Nice mock. Hits our needs with a mix of BPA. I'd imagine that our actualt draft looks similar in positions at the very least for at least 7 of those picks.

I like it, but I think that might be a bit early for Vickers. He should be there in the fourth or even the fifth. I really like the Eugene pick and I think it's one we will likely see come draft day.

I agree. The rest are all reaches based on potential. Manning has played against suspect competition, Vickers is a reach in the third round, Whimper is just plain bad (he's fast but that doesn't matter if you get beat by both the speed and bull rush)...I could go on.

The only pick I like is Mangold

I would agree, however it's a bold mock.
I love Mangold and Quillen (who I think is only 21?) I read the same report and his numbers just jumped of the page, in terms of his hight and speed, he is one of the fastest players available.
As for Vickers....maybe the 4th round instead of the 3rd, LSU's - OT - A. Whitworth may be available?
I've also heard good things about the FB Bernstein?

Not to mention Vickers is a huge reach in the 3rd, he is not the best FB in the draft. But he fits Grudens offense nicely. We can get him in the 4th or 5th.

Yes Vickers might be a stretch, but I think some team will grab him early in the 4th, so if we want him, the 3rd is the place to grab him, or trade down, but I wasn't going into all that trading down, by the 3rd round any trades with any team are possible and would way to complex to try to figure out, or explain.

Besides, Gruden likes raw players that need to develop so he can mold them to his style.
