Can someone design my new ATM Card??

I just got an e-mail from my bank where I can design my own ATM card.

Since I'm not very good at it I'd like to ask you guys to use your creativity to make me a fantastic Buccaneers creditcard. I'd like to have the Bucs logo and in the background maybe Raymond James Stadium. (Maybe a buccaneer helmet somewhere in it and offcourse Tampa Bay Buccaneers ina great font)

Here's the info you'll need:

Size: at least 30KB and max. 3MB
Resolution: 480x480 pix
The file must be in JPEG,BMP,GIF,TIFF or PNG

I hope someone is willing to help me out.

Thanks in advance.

DUTCH

Dutch, you need to find out what DPI the image needs to be. Most likley since its going to be printed onto a card it would need to be at least 300DPI or else the image will look horrible.

You also need to recheck those dimensions. Why is it a cards requirement is square dimensions? It makes no sense. So find out the dimensions of the card and ask them also how much of a bleed line they want.

I would be happy to do this for ya if you can get me answers to these questions.

I guess all ATM cards and creditcards are the same size aren't they???

They don't talk about size anywhere. Doesn't resolution 480x480 say something of how good/detailled a picture is??? Like when you take pictures with a digital camera with 6 Megapixel instead of a 3 Megapixel camera. The 6 Megapixel camera usually makes better pictures, doesn't it???

When I go to the homepage of my bank I have to go to the folder where I have the image that needs to be put on my card. When I click on add, the image automatically adjusts to the standard size of a creditcard and you see how your card is going to look.

I know what Dutch is talking about... the image you use has to be 480x480... the whole image won't be going on the card, it will be cropped.

Take a look at this site: http://www.capitaloneimagecard.com

Not sure if this is the same that Dutch has, but i got an email from them the other day too telling me about this

They don't give you a whole lot of details about the dpi or anything except that they say the better clarity the better it will look on the card, so i would assume that a higher dpi would be best.

I will work on one tomorrow for ya.

I am worried however that when I create the card image that integral parts of the design will be cropped.

But I will make one for ya no prob.

*edit* I posted this on a saturday night thinking it was a sunday night (I never seem to know what day it is)... so what I mean by this is... I will do it on monday. So try to remain patient.

Generally when making walls I leave a dark blank area on the left for icons and such.

Incase you were wondering.

I just see a red x Bucalicious. Could you please post it again.

Sorry for the late response, but I was too busy to visit the board the past couple of days. I'm really looking forward for the result. (Could you please post both, so I can compare them ??)

Thnx anyway for putting so much effort in it.

It looks great especially as a wallpaper. But when I put it on the card the result of the image wasn't as nice as it is in this thread.

Maybe you can design a new one with a big Bucs logo in the back and TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS in front of it and a Lombardy and Bucs helmet on each of the sides.

I'll try to post the result (how it ended up on the card) later today, so you can see how a design turns out to be on a card.
