The Training Camp Thread
I thought it'd be nice to compile a single thread of questions the other members have that those attending TC can help answer; this thread can also act as a single outlet for those to tell their stories and share their analysis/pictures. It would definetly be the most exciting thread for the rest of the offseason, and for those who live out of state - a great boost in information intake.
Obviously I don't expect all of these answered, but I do appreciate any that you can answer. Also, don't be afraid to answer a question somebody else already answered - the more the opinions/analysis, the better. I suppose I'll get it started: * There's been a lot of talk about #18 WR Chas Gessner recently (one report from Jim Flynn of PewterReport, I forget the other source) - why the talk? * Who's running with the first team on the OL as of now, and how is it looking? * Although Dave Moore is probably taking most (if not all) of the snaps as LS right now, of the others (#49 Mark Anelli or #60 Jordan Hicks) - do they look like possible "replacements" to Dave Moore? * There's a lot of concern about the depth at the Safety position - what is your take on the way they are playing (#26 Will Allen, #23 Jermaine Phillips, #28 Donte Nicholson, #39 Kalvin Pearson, and #37 Steve Cargile)? * Obviously we all want "you know what" to be forever removed from our transcript - that said, who's returning kicks, and who's doing it well? * Is our Pro Bowl Punter still looking Pro Bowl worthy? * I've got to ask about Gradkowski - you probably don't get to see him much, but when you do...is he all that Gruden is saying he is? * The LB corps is a mess; besides Brooks, the other positions are not solidified - Quarles had a great season, but the talks are that Ruud still has a chance at taking that spot. Then of course there is the Nece/Winborn battle, and the "Can Cooper be what he's supposed to be?" question lingering - your take? * With the signing of Sowell and Mike returning, it's obvious (barring any insane, horrific accident) that Razzano won't make the team; is he at least worthy enough to keep on the PS? * For whatever reason, I liked the Justin Phinissee signing (CB #35) - there was a lot of mystery behind it, a lot of "who the hell is he?", and to this day, little coverage and very little information. It almost seems like the guy doesn't exist - I want to know about him, how well he is doing, and if he has ANY shot at making even the PS. Punt returns, coverage, special teams, EVERYTHING. I want to know who this guy is and why the Bucs drafted him. * With that in mind, who out of #46 Blue Adams, #35 Justin Phinissee, #27 Torrie Cox, #31 James Patrick, and #17 Reuben Houston is likely to take the number 5 CB spot? * Who/What surprised you the most? * Who/What dissappointed you the most? * Your favorite thing that happened that day. As said above, your own analysis/commentary is equally welcomed.
