Larry Brackins?

I know he was a project, and it looks like we have some talent at WR, but I was looking at the current roster and Larry Brackins, last years 5th rd draft choice wasn't on the roster. Does anyone know, was he released and when? Just curious, hadn't heard anything.

Brackins was released July 25.

In addition to the fact that it would have been difficult for him to make the team with it being so deep at WR, reports are that he failed a steroids test.

i was hopin he would make the team but with the WR depth it wasnt going to happen.

It would be nice to have the local kid make the team. I think it's going to be tough though with the depth we have at that position. Here's hoping, that if he doesn't make it here, he can show enough to be picked up by a team that lacks that depth.
