Justin Phinisee

I'm sure that many of you don't know much about Justin. After all, being drafted in the 7th round isn't especially a high-profile pick. He was my student at Downey High School in 2000, an obvious football star there, and an incredible young man. His nick name is JJ. At Oregon, the coaching staff labeled him the hardest working member of the team. Hopefully he'll get the opportunity to prove his worth with the Bucs.

Good luck!

Justin Phinisee

Hi Rick,

I agree with everything you said about Justin Phinisee and would like to add that he is a definite steal for the Bucs, not only for his athletic ability, but for his PR (Public Relations) Saavy, keen instincts and the solid moral fiber of his character.

On a separate note, please email me at: phiniseefanclub@sbcglobal.net --- I told Justin about your post on the boards and he was glad to hear it, and has a message for you.

See ya all in Dallas!

Jillian

Phinisee is a hard working, intelligent player who is coachable...if he gets the PT and the blocks he will definitely be a special teams star and has potential at corner has well. Pac-10 1st team all conference, Oregon's 2005 special teams player of the year, most intercepted yards returned record at Oregon, 8 solo tackles, 2 assists and a pass break-up against OU, led Oregon's 2005 season with the most pass breakups, worked hard at camp and is showing he can handle himself well at the pro level with the little PT he's had...Phinisee has enormous potential!

Looks like he couldn't make it past the first round of cuts.
