Credit to the Falcons and Simms for the Falcons W, but

if any of you Falcons fans think you will keep playing that well all year, resort back to the past few seasons. You may even make the playoffs but teams will find away to rattle Vick or even injure him. Your team will nose dive soon enough and yet again show why your savior is also one who will hold you back. You wont get to the Super Bowl with Vick.
2 games into it and you are 2-0 but you wont be winning the division this year either. Not to say we will because we have obvious issues at the moment. But you get all giddy over Vick like you have since hes been in the league and how well has that really worked out for you so far? If you do plan on getting deep in the playoffs youd better hurry because Vick aint getting any younger and its only a matter of time before your scheme is foiled or he gets hurt or just flat out starts throwing away games for you.

It's kinda sad when someone does all that trash talking...their team gets shutdown...and they make a statement like that one honestly. That's the best you got?

What are you talking about? I see you don't want to admit it but the Falcons are the best team in the NFC South this year. I don't see the Saints beating us, so who else is there?

The Falcons aren't going anywhere in the post season without a decent kicker if they even make it that far.

Congrats on the win today, AF fans!
Bucs have lots of work to do.
Vick keeps getting away with playing with fire.
Running QBs don't last long is what I am talking
about.

Go Bucs!

It kills me, especially when you look at "pocket passers" and the injuries they've had. (Grossman, Palmer, Griese, Simms, Brees, etc.)

They last longer than QBs that can't get the ball past the line of scrimmage.

Slammee.....you guys are one play away from yet another losing season if the running back behind center gets hurt. So don't get all pompous now that you have strung 2 wins together. Two consecutive wins is a hell of a lot easier that two consecutive winning seasons. But I guess that enough happened today where some of you can come camp out over her. Jiminy Christmas, there must be a whole flock of you over here. Must be what, 8? I'm sure that the oldtimers like Southernbird and TFA are feeling a little crowded.
Don't make them look bad, okay?

But that's alright. You guys go ahead and have your fun.
There's graciousness in winning also, especially when you didn't think you would.

Remember that.

Hey, what do you know, I was right...

I was right on so many things, I'd have to do research to organize them all before posting...

You can apply that to any team in the league, just look at Carolina

You guys can never make up your minds.

One minute you say we're better off with Schaub as the QB; and the next minute we're nothing if Vick gets hurt.

Which one is it?

Not really. I'm over it. It really doesn't affect me that much, BF. Honestly. I've lived the highs, and I've lived the lows. I don't see something like that happening again, but it wouldn't kill me if it did. I'm more disappointed in my team's performance today than anything elsse. Any semblance of a running attack, and we would have won that game, your Texas Option yardage or not.
Winning and losing sometimes go hand in hand. I went through a lot of losing back in the day, and you could probably understand that.
But I also had the privilege of walking through Hartsfield on my way back to Tampa from San Diego in 2003. That you won't understand.
So today was a low, but not a valley. You feeling me?

If Vick is allowed to be Vick and run you guys are going to be tough for anyone to beat. You gotta admit that Simms cost us this game more than the 300 yds rushing.

Way to go, he had as many TD passes as Ryan Longwell. What an accomplishment.

I'm an avid Atlanta Sports fan. We only have one championship. The Braves won that one in 1995. Trust me that 2003 Championship of yours will be a distant memory pretty soon.

This topic is pointless.... The Poster is just a sore loser. Even though I thought the Bucs would win. I had a large doubt come after that the Bucs would would lose, because of what happened againts B-More 2 weeks ago. offensive line was probably be shreded, and Cadillac would be held under 50 yards because of that. Simms would make some stupid mistakes. Clayton would not show up. And the defense would give up 10 points. And thats what exactly happened.

And to the poster. As long as they lose in the 1st round, don't make it to the playoffs altogether, or don't win a super-bowl I'm happy. Remember only 1 team wins the Super-Bowl. And I highly doubt the Falcons will win one anytime soon.

How many years we been saying Vick won't last? He is getting better folks .. face it. The game would have been a lot worse if Abraham was playing, the Birds look to to represent the NFC South this year. I hate the Falcons more than anyone... but you have to admit there team speed is sick !!

At least it wasn't a kicker like in the Vikings game

Also, I think that even without Vick, you would do very good. Schaub is not a bad QB and with Lelie, White, Jenkins and Crumpler are a good receiving corps.

But guys, you need a kicker! This guy is awful. You also need Abraham back on the field. It will be tougher against a real OLine and a real QB.

No BF. You would say that, and I understand. But I really don't see that happening.
See, once you've actually been there, especially in person, it's something you don't forget. Sorry.
But I have no animosity towards you. It's cool.
