Run, Bruce, Run

Random prediction for Sunday's game:

The Eagles' D has obviously done a good job rushing the passer/getting sacks this year. With a rookie QB, they will likely be looking to bring extra pressure. However, the corollary to that is that overly aggressive D lines will often lose containment on a mobile quarterback. We have one of those now.

So, I see the potential for Bruce to gain some decent yardage on the ground this week. I'll venture a guess of about 60-65 yards and a TD. What does everyone think?

I agree.. Yet I don't think bruce is ready to get 60-65 yards on the iggles D... I'm sure he has heard they are some hard hitters.. I'm wanting the O-line to step and pittman to pick up blitzs and give bru some time in the pocket... but hell if does get out.. run bruce run.. I don't want our boy getting jacked up from trotter.... hook slide, hook slide!! whatever the case....

step up and GO BUCS

If the thought of not running because "those mean men on the other side of the ball hit hard" has even crossed Bruce's mind............ we're in for a long day.

I say he hears that you are calling him a wimp, and runs for 70 yards instead.

He'll run for 50 yards and a TD, pass for 150 and a TD, and get passed up for rookie of the week honors again despite leading his team to victory.

But don't worry...they'll talk about him for 10 seconds on sportcenter when they are compelled legally to cover the bucs eagles game.

I don't know... Bruce seemed to handle the blitz pretty good last week, but of course the Eagles D is more effective at blitzing than the Bengals... I thought Bruce struggled more with reading the defense on longer routes than the short quick passes... I would rather see him run it than to try and force something.
