Wild Card Pickem!
It's that time of year again folks! Grab the chips and salsa, hit the recliner, and get ready for some football.
Kansas City at Indianapollis This game rests on one man: Larry Johnson. If he can take advantage oif Indy's pathectic Run D, the game is the Cheifs for taking. If they let the Colts get a 2 Touchdown lead, the Cheifs are done. But, if the Cheifs get a 2 touchdown lead, the Colts are done. Who gets that lead? I say the Colts have another sluggish start in a playoff game and Johnson contorls the rest of the game. Cheifs 24, Colts 17 Dallas at Seattle I really feel this game is a mismatch....in the Cowboys favor (Sorry Trent). Romo rebounds by attacking the banged up Seattle Secondary with his strong Recieving Corps, and the Cowboys run away with it. Cowboys 28, Seahawks 13 New York Jets at New England Last year, I picked the Jaguars to walk into Foxburough and shock the U.S. with a smashmout win over the Legendary Patriots. I was wrong, and I'm not about to make that same mistake again. New York is a team on the rise, and I think they can challenge the Patriots for the title next year. But this year, I just don't see the Jets going into Foxburogh and advancing. Patriots 17, Jets 7 New York Giants at Philadelphia Tom Coughlin...Tiki Barber.....Jeff Garcia....Eagle's hot streak....Plaxico Burres vs Michael Strahan. This game is headlline central. Who wins? Well, despite a win on Saturday, the Giants looked terrible. Tiki was the only bright spot. Jeremiah Trotter and Brian Dawkins could make it tough for him. I think Tiki has a good game with 80 yards and a Touchdown, but it is the last time we will See Tiki play, and Jeff Garcia will make sure of it in a thriller. Eagles 31, Giants 24 I'll bump this after all the games are over to see how I did. I hope to improve on my 0-4 Wild Card Record Last year. ![]()

This matchup is the most interesting to me. Is it a steel cage match or something????? |

I think Larry Johnson will have a career day or something close to it, leading to a win over the Colts.
All predictions seem pretty accurate and well thought out to me.

Flipflop the afc picks and thats mine. The Hawks are a better team that the boys at home but bonehead holmgren had to go and get his starting secondary banged up and now they will be one and done.
coughlin will get canned after the loss to philly opening up yet another coaching job. |

I think the Colts will beat KC at home. The Colts run D has been better at home than on the road. I think they'll get absolutely destroyed in Baltimore in what will be the worst mismatch of the playoffs, but they should be able to have a field day against the Chiefs pass D. Colts 31, Chiefs 24.
In the other games: Dallas over Seattle New England over Jets Philly over Giants |

I agree with all of caddy&clayton's picks, but I don't think the Eagles and Giants will score that many points.

Bump...
2-2.... Nothing great, but a lot better than last year's wild card record of 0-4. ![]()

2-2 was not great. Thanks Romo!
But better than last year's 1-3. Who knew ALL the favorites would win. |
