Reggie Bush's Touchdown Catch... Questionable...

I don't really care that it was ruled a Touchdown. Did anyone else see how Reggie Bush got so wide open? Colston broke his route and slid over a half a step and clipped the D-Back who was covering Reggie Bush. I remember several calls against Bucs recievers this year for the same exact infraction. But I guess Katrina is still getting to the Refs?

BUCS in the SuperBowl. Thomas Jones. Boy the Bucs let one get away.
Brian Griese oh thats two that got away. Lovie Smith thats three. Tony Dungy the coach of the Century. 8 Straight Playoff appearances and now the Superbowl. Good Luck to all the Bucs representing in the SuperBowl...

GO DUNGY!!! And Thank You for Bringing the Bucs to the Next Level. You'll always be a Buccaneer.

It's true, the guy covering Bush was bumped off coverage but truthfully that stuff rarely gets called unless it's flagrant, I don't think that was any Katrina favoritism. And trust me it happens a lot, we had plays designed to do exactly that. What bothered me more was the finger wagging as he went in, kind of looked like a punk move to me, I expected more of out him.

BTW one time they called it on us Galloway made it so obvious what he was doing the refs had no choice. I remember posting on it because I was so ****ed about it. As I said, we had plays designed this way, we always told them make it look unintentional and keep running your route like you are the hot reciever just as Colston did! Galloway picked the guy and then quit running, it was obvious what he was on the field to do.

give me a brake irish. don't be so obvious. good post? well it was mediocre, it contained very little insight or depth of thought. if someone had made a post comporable to this praising Gruden, you'd have jumped his/her butt. yeah, as if griese is playing an integral role in the bears title run. the fact that he was a buc who now happens to be on the bears' roster is irrelevant.

What does comporable mean?

We can communicate better if you learn to read and write properly. Work on that for me, thanks.

And it's "give me a break", not brake, unless you are in the road and want me to stop my automobile for you. Not to nitpik but your spelling and punctuation is horrible!

Lastly it's not Irish to you, that is reserved for family and friends. If you need to address me I prefer coach or Mr McIrish in the future. Thanks.

LOL.

Good post because he praised Dungy. The guy did not even know what a routine pick in the NFL was. Happens every game and routes are designed to do it, Galloway just sucks at pulling it off.

Come on Patty, don't be too obvious man.

Not to nitpick, but you spelled nitpick (or nit-pick) wrong. Thank me later. Coach.

That might be asking for a bit much.

Stupid thread.

The refs were one-sided and called the overwhelming majority of BAD calls against the Saints. Non-calls, bad calls and some of the challenges were all highly suspect.

I must have missed his contribution this year.

Why not just mention Vinny T and the AFCCG? He has as much to do with the Pats getting there as Griese had to do with CHI.

He would have been better than Grads and Simms....

Heck, he probably would have been better than Grossman....

That winning streak to start off last year was so nice with Griese at the helm

So if they called the clip with the ball not thrown yet, is it offensive holding or is it offensive pass interference?

Griese went to Chicago to compete for a starting job. He knew the Bucs were going to start Simms. As for letting him get away, his contributions this year may have been 6 to 8 wins for the bucs this season if we didnt let him get away. In My Opinion. I liked Griese as a Buc... Im very upset that the Bucs didnt commit to Johnson or Griese. I am a firm believer that the BUCS MADE A BIG MISTAKE BY NOT KEEPING BRAD JOHNSON Here or GRIESE FOR THE NEXT 2 to 3 Years. In my opinion Brad Johnson should still be a BUCCANEER.

If the ball's not thrown yet, I don't think it's a penalty at all..

The first infraction of that kind this year was when Joey Galloway ran and hit a D-Back to free up Paris Warren for the TD @ New Orleans in the 5th week. The problem was that Galloway bump the D-Back and then he just stopped to make it obvious. Easy Call for the refs...In Reggie Bush's Spectacular catch Colston kind-of ran through the DB, either that or the refs wanted to see the amazing move he'd soon put on another guy...

Thomas Jones was nothing special when he was in Tampa.
Thomas Jones: 2003 TB
games - 16
attemps - 137
yards - 627

Did you ever stop to think that what team he is on has something to do with how good he is doing at the time?

And Griese is a back-up. What has he done to get Chicago to the Super Bowl this year that qualifies an "one that got away" tag? lets see he completed 18 passes (aprx %50) for 1 td and 2 int. That really could have helped out Tampa.

Hey Irish, many players cannot spell better, so please don't expect fans too. Certain members of your family said "You can call him Irish, Sweetie"
