McNabb is good but he has a injury problem I dunno if I would put him in my top 5 QB list personally, I would replace him with Brett Favre.

(knock, knock)

Hello? Hello?

Hi, my name is Mike Alstott and I'm a fullback. There are quite a few of us around the NFL and there must be some reason we're kept around. In fact, I'm the NFC alternate to the Pro Bowl.

I'm sorry, I happened to notice that my name is nowhere on your list, nor are any of my colleagues around the NFL. We happen to think we do an important job, and since we get to play almost every offensive down, so must our coaches. Do you suppose we might make your list?

Thanks a lot! Gotta go, the Hall of Fame Board of Selectors have the same problem you do, we're all meeting to discuss how to tell them we exist!

(smiles, nods, walks away)

I guess I could include FBs in the list. I just didn't feel like it was a very important position anymore, but for teams I guess it is.

1. Lorenzo Neal
2. Mack Strong
3. Justin Griffith

In the modern game, fullbacks and tight ends have become very similar positions. Both primarily block with a possibiilty of getting a pass thrown their way. It doesn't mean they're not important, it means that the criteria for judging them has changed. But so long as you have tight ends, tackles, guards, and centers, you were doing the last set of blockers a disservice by ignoring them.

So did the Hall of Fame last year, when not one made the preliminary list for induction.

I might have missed some and I wouldn't be surprised if I did. I would like to read your opinions as well as see how you would arrange the lists.
No Driver? No Woodson or Harris? This isnt a thread about who played well last season this is a thread about players you have knowledge of. You might as well put up pro bowl voting. Very week!

Ogden and Pace both missed time.
Hutchinson struggled early. Adams, Dielman also missed time as did Allen who is passed his prime and just a name now.
Kruetz and Brik can still play but you pulled popularity on both of those two.
DE? Taylor had a huge year. Freeney didnt have the pass rush but can still play. No mention of Mark Anderson? Seymour? I know they moved him around but he was hurt and didnt put up the numbers he normally does. You put him on the list for name alone. Aaron Kampman's numbers dwarfed all other DE's you have listed. Again you went on name reconginiton alone. Casual fan post, but alteast you tried.

I do have to commend you for not throwing up a bunch of Bucs players that didnt have great years but were players you liked. Stick with you sportscenter opinions, they are hardly ever wrong.

What has Clinton Portis done to warrent 5a at RB?
Maybe he'll be back to speed next year but maybe not. In the meantime Frank Gore needs some props. Not to mention Brian Westbrook...
As a homer i would put Barber in there above or just after Lito. I think there gamelevel is very similar.

Read the damn quote. Also, there are only threee, five, or seven spots, meaning many great players won't make the list like Woodson, Harris, Driver, or Clifton.

Probably next year for Brown.

Dante Hall has done more in the past than Eddie Drummond. Eddie only had one good year, Dante has been kind of consistent but he should still be above Eddie.
