Calling all future 1%er's and future LEGENDS

FOOTBALL is almost here folks...........can you believe it? Even thought I have been more than a little vocal here, in saying that I don't expect anything substantive from the Bucs for another few years.......one still cannot help but love and support this team and the logo. That's what it's all about baby.

In a few days...pre-season starts........and we get to look at some of the new up and comers.......and some of the old stalwart vets........and openly discuss who needs to stay...and who needs to go........and debate and address all of our other off season moves that brought us here.

With all that said........this board we call home will be filled with opinions of all kinds.......and that's the point of this thread.....

The LEGENDS are always looking.

Remember that.

We are looking at who, of you....will stand up.....and stand out....when it comes to offering great football takes this season here on the TBBBBB.........no matter what your opinion is. We want to see some of you new cats....and some of you not so new cats....really step up and make a name for yourself.....and you don't do that by linking to articles or power rankings. ...write your own articles.........make your own power rankings........bottom line is....BRING SOMETHING TO THIS BOARD...because that makes it better for everyone concerned.

Step up your game this season folks..........have a take........back up your facts when you need to..........and I GUARANTEE you will stand up & above the crowd here. Make your own threads..........make your own identity here........and offer up some great written works. That helps this board stay on top........where it belongs.

The LEGENDS are looking forward to who amongst you shall step up with some great football takes this season...and take your place at the top!!

Believe it or not, I was thinking of starting a thread like this today.. "Training" is over... It's time for the "board season" to start. Who's ready? Who isn't? It is time for those that have lasted to step up and be counted.


It doesn't hurt with a new crop of LEGENDS to be elected soon.

Don't like it? Get bent out of shape, or do something about it. The choice is yours.

It always has been, but realize this: This forum DOES have a reputation. Some bad, mostly good... and it is widely known that this forum will NOT be "taken". There are too many here that know HOW to defend it.

Let it be understood that the good fans of our opposing teams are still welcome here... and always will be. But that bears no quarter for talking smack, or discussing their teams. The season is coming, and the discussions WILL get serious. I thoroughly expect our Saint friends to participate, and there are a few that will be damn fine rivals.

I do learn a lot from the serious and even the casual fans on here. I've been on this board for 4 years (participating for almost 2) and I do get most of my info from here. I don't get the the opportunity to see many of the NFL shows during the week and living in this stupid time zone, I don't see any pregame shows. So this forum is very informative and I pick up on things that I normally would not even if I did watch more of the shows.

Man, I'm going to miss you guys and these boards.

I wrote a Post Game analysis thread on almost every game last year. Not that anyone really ever took notice. It was usually just 2 pages of replies saying,"I agree" and that's it, but all the same it was fun.

Unfortunatly, for clear reason, I will not be able to write such this season.


One tip: I'm not a grammar or spell check queen but they are incredibly important if you're writing a thread with your views and opinions. "thats cool, i agree" works as a nice short reply, but when doing a serious OP, lower case I's just don't cut it and it take away a lot of value when the reader thinks he's reading a 12 year olds rewrite of a NFL.com article.

And there is a difference between your and you're. LEARN IT!
