Underdogs to Powerhouses

I've seen alot of great teams last year start very poorly this year.

Chargers: They can still be great but they haven't looked the same from last year.

Bears: Their defense still looks great but there offense is going to kill their season.

Ravens: Their first game was very sloppy, I didn't hear anything on there recent game, but going off their first game there going to struggle.

Saints:Until they get their offense back up and running there in for a long season because their defense is just not there.

Eagles:Their 0-2, they're not playing badly but there going to have to get it together if they want to win some, but I don't want them to win so they can just keep on playing like this.

Now every team I just listed was in the playoffs last season, and everyone of those team are 0-2 or 1-1, now that's not saying there in for a horrible season because it's too early to tell, but there not as near as strong as they started out last season.

Now many of the underdog teams last season are having a great start to the season so far.

Texans:2-0,They're looking like a team that can dominant this year, with a number 15th ranked offense and a 9th ranked defense, you can't go wrong with that.

Lions:They're 2-0, and they don't look like there about to stop, they have the 5th ranked offense in the NFL.

Redskins:2-0, and they have the 11th ranked offense with the 16th ranked defense, I would put them right along with the Texans.

Buccaneers: 1-1, We still have alot of work that needs to be done, we don't have the statistics on our side like the Texans, Lions, and Redskins do. But Sunday's victory over the team that made it all the way to the NFC Champion ship game says alot. We have alot to look forward to, and the fact we aren't 0-4 means their's already is a improvement.

Browns:1-1, They still have lots to do as well, but to put up 51 points against the Bengals is amazing. They have the 7th ranked offense, but they have the worst defense in the league ranked at 32.

Now every team I just listed above were all last seasons high draft pick teams. But they are starting very strong , and many of these teams opponents were against last seasons playoff teams. If you ask me it's starting to look like a underdog type of season.

Sorry, I did not read all of your post. After just a few sentences all I could think about was posting this:

Main Entry: their
Pronunciation: [th]&r, '[th]er
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from their, pronoun, from Old Norse theirra, genitive plural demonstrative & personal pronoun; akin to Old English thæt that
1 : of or relating to them or themselves especially as possessors, agents, or objects of an action <their furniture> <their verses> <their being seen>
2 : his or her : HIS, HER, ITS -- used with an indefinite third person singular antecedent <anyone in their senses -- W. H. Auden>
usage see THEY

Here is a link, I hope I have been helpful.

I understand the desire to put Tampa in the latter category. But it's kind of fallacious to say we deserve to be there because we beat the saints when you have the saints in the slump category.

Underdog? Not a good flick. Jason Lee plays a much better redneck than a Super canine especially a sarcastic one.

I don't know about helpful, but that sure was annoying as all get out.

By the way. I noticed you edited your post. Made a mistake did we? Don't you hate that?

I really do feel sorry for those on the board who find it necessary to disrespect people by pointing out flaws in their writing. It shows how insecure you are, and eager for attention you are.

So here's your attention Homer. How about earning some respect and attention by posting quality posts about... oh I don't know... FOOTBALL!

I edited my post to add a link, but thanks for caring.

I really feel sorry for those on the board that have to put up with your *****ing and whining or was your post one of the quality posts you were talking about?

Edit: Learning the difference between there and their should have been taught in elementary school, no offense TB-owns-ATL.

Okay so it's only a quarter in to the season but I decided to bring it back up now.

All I have to say is, I was watching NFL Primetime, and they said that all the teams that where the first 5 draft picks are .500 or better.

It looks like the underdogs will have this season.

Out of the strong teams last season that I had on the list only one of them is .500, and that is the Ravens being 2-2. The rest of them on the list are 1-3, and the Saints are still winless ( because of bye week).
