These type threads are always distressing and depressing. All I can invision is a great ape pounding his chest and screaming at his neighbors "Look how great I am!"

If you are a true fan, you cheer for your team, regardless the circumstances. You get ****ed when they fail to live up to your expectations, but you don't abandon them, you move on and get ready for the next game, full of anticipation. Looking for the signs of improvement, the highlight plays, the opportunities to advance and dominate, anything. You demand excellence and respect. You cringe at disappointments, but remain steadfast.

Pointing to yourself and saying "I am a TRUE fan" doesn't get it. Your actions speak far louder than your words. He tells us not to brag about our actions to others. A man can't be a prophet in his own lands. Yet here you are with a thread like this. Distressing and depressing.

True fan here will always be, I was there for my team when they couldn't beat the eagles and it was a great day when they finally beat them. I plan to move to Tampa one day just because my Bucs are there.

Through thick and thin.
As a truly loving relationship goes--you have ups and downs, diappointments and joys, anger and laughter--but you stay with the ONE you love.
Go Bucs!

The need for you to make a thread like this just shows how desperate you are to prove to everybody that you're really a fan.

But the truth is, you wouldn't need to create this kind of thread if you really were a fan.

For you to come in here and say something about it shows how much of a troll you are.

In psychology we call that sentiment the defense mechanism of reaction formation.

Pointing to others as untrue fans perhaps projects their own self-doubt, and transparent needs

I was 100% down with the rebuilding project, and the growing pains that come with it. I was tired of looking @ old players struggling to keep up with younger players; old players who only practiced once a week. I like this administration. If something is not working, don't be afraid to make a change. No ego is in the way to keep the mistake moving forward! I'm excited about the upcoming draft and free agency.

GO BUCS! GO BUCS!
