Remember Goodies With Your Season Tix?

Not a cut. And no disrespect intended.
Anybody else remember when we used to get stuff with our season tickets?
I miss getting a team poster. Like the Ace Auto Parts Posters. I wish the Bucs would consider the idea of bringing them back. Or the Christmas cards? The ones that, if signed by a coach or player in ink entitled you to a prize?
Or the Season Ticket Holder I.D. Card? I mean, it's not an elitist thing I'm proposing, just that I miss that kind of stuff. Heck, for what you pay.......Sometimes it's the little things that are nice.

The Good ole days..... I remember the car flag we got for the first year the Bucs were at RJ. Even a cool seson ticketholder sticker would be nice.

I carried the card for the season. The other stuff I left in the box, intact. It's in the bigger box with 26 years of Buc memorabilia, even bills and old parking passes..

Remember when you called the ticket office and told then you were a season ticket holder they asked how could they help and would you like some more tickets. Now you call and it's like your only a season ticket holder, be quick, I have important people to talk to. Like club seat holders. single game ticket buyers, or out of state ticket brokers. Thats my two cents.

The attitude all comes from the top down. It is all about money.

I would have to agree, when they couldnt sell tickets, we season ticket holders got treated well (i recall discounts from several sponsors if you showed your Bucs ID card one year even).
Now that they have a waiting a list a mile long, we are completely replaceable and the attitude now is; if you dont like it cancel your seats, forfeit your deposit and we will be happy to get another deposit for the same seat thank you !

Absolutely. It's a shame. That Season Ticket Holder I.D. was like a badge of honor in those days. Fan Appreciation Day was a day where you walked around, the players were accesible, hot dogs, drinks, you could even bring in your cell phone for a tune-up. You wrote to a player, and he wrote you back. Fans were appreciated because the team was so bad that any fan in those days was considered a hero.
I remember Buc players were everywhere. Now there are a precious few. Like John Lynch. I almost regret the Bucs getting to be so good, because now everyone else lays claim to them, and they were the ones who used to rag us in the old days. I know the fat old guy in the orange suit was no angel, but at least there were some ammenities for the fans. Too bad the people up there now are an elitist group. I sure hope the Bucs don't begin to suck again, cause the whooshing sound and thud you hear is the air coming out of the balloon, and the collective feet of thousands jumping off the bandwagon. Tim Ruskell should give them some pointers about how the Bandits ran their promotions. I guess that's why Hugh hated them so much. Bassett was a good guy. He knew how to entertain his fans.
Question: Anybody but me notice that, other than beer and cotton candy, there are very few vendors in the po' folks sections (non-club)? I don't remember soft drink or snack vendors in my section in several seasons, and I'm in the lower bowl. Nothing against beer drinkers (I like an occasional one), but I don't drink alcohol at the game, and my kids aren't old enough. Just wondering.
