Breaking News!!!! Tony Dungy not fined!

Ahhh, but isn't this the man who went on record and expressed his extreme disapointment in the officiating last week?

I guess the deal with the NFL is if you support us when we look really stupid (Insert Simeon Rice penalty here) we will turn a blind eye when you get upset!

Once again no discrimination here!

Note to the league: If you want to improve the way you govern your game you need to have less grey areas in your rules and regulations...Why do I know that if SAPP went off after that game about how bad the call was he would be 10 g's lighter!

I think some of the calls against the Colts had something to do with the MNF ones. Definate pay back calls.

Big surprise.

The NFL has their favorites. Dungy and Urlacher fall in that category.

Sapp is one of the class clowns.

*think back when dungy was here and all those games we we're let down including the playoff games-cause our offense wasn't aggressive enough to get the points. his style was always defense wins the game and it was always down to the end.
*yea i was sad when dungy left and was uncertain about the team and its direction but getting rid of him and getting gruden was the best thing the bucs could've done!
tired of hearing bout Dungy, you and me both, but get used to it, he's enshrined in Buc martyrdom.

Clearly this is evidence of the Giant Anti-Bucs NFL Conspiracy.

Gee, I searched this thread in its entirety, and I didn't find a single mention of Dungy having "built this team".

Oh, I get it!! You just wanted to do a little whining and snivelling. My bad!

Here's a tissue. Do you feel better now?

Try this next time. Read the thread title. Read the posts within the thread. Then create a post that at least has something to do with the thread and the accompanying posts.

Or, if you simply have an urge to express your hatred for Tony Dungy, or anyone else for for that matter, create you own hate-filled thread on the subject.

Could be, I think it's more of an anti-Sapp conspiracy.

I agree the post strayed from the subject, but I don't see where it was a "hate-filled" post. Prolly not the proper thread and another thread about "him" would be one too many, but I didn't see it as hate-filled, more like...fed-up hearing bout "him".

Oh, I'm not upset. I was merely offering some clarity on what was obviously a matter of great confusion for you.

dungy didn't bump an official
dungy doesn't make a fool of himself week in and week out
dungy doesn't bring race into the picture
dungy stated he thought the official made a bad call, said that was his opinion and also stated the colts didn't lose because of the call
dungy uses his head when he speaks
sapp uses his head only for a place to keep his helmet
get real u guys
you have to see the difference

Yes dungy didn't bump and official, but in the past he has grabbed their attention by pulling an arm taping them on a shoulder which is about as devastating and intimadating as a brief bump which niether party recognized.

Once agian you are right Dungy doesn't make a fool of himself week after week...He usually waits till the playoffs! (Disclaimer: I still respect Coach Dungy)

Isn't he one of the leading spokesmen for the fight for more minority hiring??

I am going to stop addressing your subjective opinon now and close by saying this...Tony Dungy is a class act and a model to which any man whould want to mold himself...he is successfull articulate and whity, seems to be a good parent and role model and family man. This doesn't mean that he wasn't given preferential treatment by the NFL...the issue here is not to compare dungy to anyone else or Sapp or Urlacher...The issue is the inconsistancy shown by the NFL when dealeing with different personalities as opposed to one universal set of rules.

thanks
but don't you think the attention sapp wants to draw to himself is coming back to bite him
i mean the guy put himself in the situation

the league warned him not to run through the warm ups, so what does he do run into an official
