OK ...now what??

How will they kick us in the gut this week??

Hmmm ....Let's see ...Brett Favre ...the Packers ....think there is any bad blood there?? You think the Sapp/Clifton incident will still be on their mind??

I do not want to see the game tied with 2 minutes to go and Brett Favre on the field. If Jake Freeking Dulhomme can pick us apart, I wonder how Favre will do...

It seems as though you already know the answer!

It depends on whether Good Favre or Bad Farve shows up this weekend. He's like a faulty light switch. You flip him on and he'll either shine for the weekend or be dimmer than a 3 watt bulb. I'd like to see it be a "lights out" event this Sunday.

I wouldn't really say that Delhomme picked us apart. Of course I wouldn't say that we know how to play 60 minutes of football either.

I would say that Jake DID pick us apart. It's not bad enough that Tim Wansley got burnt, but the biggest play of the day for Carolina had Ricky Prohl BURN (flat-out burned him) Ronde Barber! Right? So don't say we didn't get picked apart. Plus, the only times we scored were against the Prevent D. Look, I've been a Bucs fan for a long time, I'm not a bandwagon guy. So, I've had a lot of practice realizing when we will miss the playoffs. And this year, we will miss the playoffs and break the streak. Sorry to say it, but we won't win the Wildcard. Right now, today, we would be out of the playoffs...it's not in our control anymore. Champions are not made this way.

No, no, and no. We didn't get picked apart by Delhomme.

1) Tackling fundamentals. Did anybody bother to count how many times we missed open-field tackles?? A lot. I lost count.

2) Zone coverage - Lynch over pursued on his return and missed out on a key play in coverage.

3) Special teams or their lack thereof.

4) Not conditioned well enough to play football an entire game? Yep, that sums up both sides of the ball.

Now...NONE of those things have to do with DELHOMME PICKING US APART. All of them have to do with us letting Delhomme have a decent game. And by no means when the score is 24-27 did ANYBODY pick anybody apart. Period.

I posted this in another thread, but the key one: Ronde (7) - had these been made, could've been a difference.

He did seem hesitant, and a little out of sorts.
3) Special teams or their lack thereof.
Penalties, penalties, penalties...Thomas Jones should return

Need new strength and conditioning coach.

DelHomme is an Average QB that our "D" made look good. I hate it when that happens.
