Juran Bolden was indicted Friday

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Juran Bolden was indicted Friday on charges of driving a stolen car and marijuana possession.


Bolden faces a felony charge of theft by receiving stolen property for driving the sport utility vehicle Oct. 11, said Erik Friedly, spokesman for the Fulton County district attorney.


The grand jury also indicted Bolden of marijuana possession and theft by receiving stolen property because the license plate didn't match the vehicle, Friedly said.


The case will be assigned to a superior court judge and Bolden could enter a plea within a few weeks, he said.


Bolden, 29, finished with 25 tackles in eight games with three interceptions in 2003.

I'm sure the Falcons wouldn't mind that. They seem to change their uniforms every year now so that they can sell more and more Mike Vick jerseys. I heard somewhere that some Falcon fans bought the home, away, and alternate Vick jerseys (why buy more than one of a player?). And then they had to buy more after they changed jerseys last year. Now that's hilarious.

That Bolden was really playing some good football at the end of the season. Why smoke pot when expensive champagne keeps the chicks coming and does not burn holes in the upholstery of your stolen car.
