Settle down. We are all excited but lets not jump to conclussions. In the NFL anything can happen.

Lets see how healthy we stay. That is huge.

They wanted him back, but not for that money.

Damn, people change their mind fast. After the first day of the draft most people were not too happy about picking a WR in the first round because they thought we had obvious needs elsewere. Now a few days later we have signed one guy and suddenly we are going to the Super Bowl again? I for one, won't get my hopes up again. I did last year and look how that went. One game at a time.

I know that. And it will. I am just saying that I think we have the best team BEFORE the season starts. I am not saying we will go 16-0 because that would be foolish

I dont think there is any question that the Bucs and Patriots will be playing in the superbowl this year. Should be a good game.

I can sit here and name teams like Washington, Philly, New England, maybe even Jacksonville as teams who look as good, or better, on paper than the Bucs. But what would that do? You Tampa fans believe the best players at every position are on your roster, so to argue about it would be pointless for me.

If that's what you guys believe, more power to ya!

I beleive almost every team has a chance to win. Anything can happen in the NFL. Every team is one or two injuries away from being 4-12.

The roster aint all that great to tell you the truth. There are plenty of other teams that are stacked. Your just say that because you know the bucs players so well by name. Lets wait till at least november before you say the team is unstoppable.

Washington? Philly? Jacksonville? None of their Defenses can compare to ours, and our O has more firepower than any of theirs.
BTW... I'll give ya NE.

Tell that to your boy UdinG.

Tampa really struggled with their injuries last season. Maybe you guys need to hire better trainers?

I think the NFC is about as wide open as it's ever been. I wouldn't call the Bucs the favorite, but they have a good a shot as anyone else. They stay healthy and no telling what could happen. One thing I love about this years roster is it's depth. The Bucs seem to be in a much better situation to handle a rash of injuries. That was the major problem with McKay's star system. It works great with a healthy team. It begins to unravel when the team is hit by the injury bug....i.e. last year. Special Teams should be dramatically improved, the O-line looks a lot better and we have more depth in the secondary. Those were the areas that were weak last year on the Bucs and it appears that they've corrected them. On paper, the Bucs look as if they could do some damage....then again, I thought that last year.

Exclamation

Let's throw a little caution into the wind!

No need to jump to conclusions so fast. We really don't know if this revamped offensive line is going to gel quickly enough to be effective next year. We also don't know if Garner will keep his edge and continue to be a dominating RB. Another unknown is the projected lineup for our Wr corps: is J.J. healthy, will McCardell hold out? Will Clayton contribute? Is Lee ready to standout for 16 games? We also don't how what our defense is going to perform next season after losing two field generals.

I really think this whole idea of being unstoppable is a bit premature....

Do I REALLY have to break this all down?!? Shoot....
Washington- They have NOTHING on offense except Portis. They also have nothing on D except Arrington and Taylor.... gimme our O over theirs any day... and ya wanna talk Defensive comparisons? Gimme a break.. no contest.
Philly- McNabb to T.O. will work nice, but what else do they have?!? They've lost so many Defensive players that they'll be lucky to be a top 15 D this year.
Jacksonville- Gimme a break. No comparison Defensively. And ya wanna talk offense? Leftwich is too young and inexperienced, Taylor is overrated and can't play 3 straight games without getting hurt, and Jimmy Smith's best days are long gone. Gimme Johnson/Garner/Alstott/McCardell/Galloway ANY DAY!!!
BTW.... kiss my arse.
