Eagles

Tampa Bay This is not your year True your teams may have had Phillys number in the past but there is a new begining on the horrizon.

THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES are the team to beat this year. I don't see many of the NFL elite living up to beating them. A proven QB aProven WR and as far as DEFENCE THE EAGLES will be un-stopable The QB body count is gonna rise as Jim Johnson sends his brand of football stright in the face of other NFL teams. Enjoy your season of discontent. Someday mabye your fan base will be strong but then again hmmmm.

One final note Being a Philly fan I must close with: Fly EAGLES Fly On the road to victory Fly EAGLES Fly Score a touchdown One, Two, Three Him'em low, Hit'em high and watch our EAGLES Fly Fly EAGLES Fly On the road to victory E-A-G-L-E-S ,,, EAGLES

After losing the NFC Championship 3 times in a row, you'd think that their fans would just shut up. But I gotta give them credit though, real men don't quit.

Re: Eagles

How do these Eagle fans continue to talk smack? I have never seen a group who's team has won crap yet are so confident that every year they are the "team to beat."

I dislike the Panthers simply because the are a divisional foe. But that was so sweet to seem the go into the Linc and beat the Eagels in the NFCCG. 0-3 and counting. Eventually they will run out of chances. At least the darn Bills can lay claim to 4 straight AFC Championships.

My daughter's version of this song... and yes I make her listen to WIP...

"Sail, Buccaneers, Sail... on the sea to victory. Hit'em high, hit'em low... watch our Buccaneers flow... Sail, Buccaneers, sail on the sea to victory"

My neighbors hate us during football season... that's a good thing!

that's why we're gonna have some good games.

LOL

anyway...

Ooo man, I was listening to the radio on my way back from PA on the day of the GB vs PHI Game this past playoffs...

only cuz I (and a lot of other Panther fans) wanted GB to win. (for a rematch on OUR turf of 1996)

Anyway...

I was laugh'n all the way back to NY, cuz all I got was the pregame radio broadcast.

I heard more people literally SCREAMING that dern'd "E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES" thing then I'll ever wanna hear again.

they were just horrid to any GB fan that came by the radio booth... and they critiqued actaully Eagle Fans for not being "good enuff" at the chant when they did it. LOL

it made for a very entertaining ride home.

Very true. You ARE the team to beat. The Rams, Bucs, and Panthers did it very easily the last three years

Eagles will score more points offensively, but will also give up more points. This season get ready for a Cowboy sweep.

A team song...how Jr. High is this?

Being a Bucs fan I must close with this:

Why Eagles why, do you always choke?
Cry Eagles cry, because your team is a joke.
You can run,
You can pass,
But the Bucs will kick your ***.
Why Eagles why, do you always choke?
C-H-O-K-E LOSERS!!

Philly should have a good offense (notice I say good, I think Brian Westbrook is overrated, unlike McNabb who is underrated). Your defense still hurts despite signing Jevon Kearse.

I wouldn't be surprised if Philly wins 12 games next season, nor would I be surprised if you won 6 games, Philadelphia is a wild card team in the NFC next year. I don't mean a wild card in the playoffs, I mean that Philly's season is too unpredictable.

Tampa Bay had a bad year in 2003. We still went 7-9, which isn't pathetic when you consider the fluke of the game we gave up to Indianapolis (which makes us 8-8), the losses of Joe J., Brian Kelly, Mike Alstott, etc. A lot of bad luck and we still went 7-9 and we ended up with a gifted/hard working Micheal Clayton, versatile Marquis Cooper, All-American Will Allen at S, and depth at guard in Jeb Terry. Add to that list Darrell Russel who has been working his tail off in the offseason w/ Lee Marnelli (sp?, isn't that our D-Line coach, sry if it isn't), a sleeper in Lamar King, last year's 2nd rd. pick Dewayne White (who I think could have 10 sacks in 2004), and fast/young Ian Gold. Not to mention backup corner/nickel Mario Edwards who started every game for the Dallas Cowboys last year under Bill Parcells.

Did I forget 4.4 Joey Galloway?

Give me a reason why we won't be good Philly, when you made only 2 solid additions to your team? This is why I love the NFL, any team can lose 12 games, and any team can win 12 games. There are no guarantees in the NFL. Even if you come up short in your home stadium twice in back-to-back season to go to the Super Bowl, and three straight NFC Championships, nothing is guaranteed. You can't just show up, how many times does your team need to be taught this lesson. I actually think that Philadelphia will end up with a 7-9 record. Then we will see who is laughing. I guess that is better than choking...again...and again...and again...........

I wouldn't be too confident in my defense if I just had lost my two starting CBs and the MLB
