Pre-Season Schedule a Formula for Disaster?

I have to tell you, I felt that the goofy pre-season schedule last year was a contributing factor to their poor season, starting with that goofy trip to Japan. The Bucs were continually in the position where they did not have enough R&R time between games. Minor injuries that are not given time to heal become major injuries. Now with the Cincinatti game being re-scheduled to Monday night and another game on Thursday . . . well, here we go again. We began last season all dinged up and I hope that doesn't happen again. The last I heard, we had a handful of injuries left over from Training Camp. Will they be aggravated on Monday night and then become season-enders on Thursday? Or by the following game? I hope not.

BTW, it works out to 4 games in 18 days.

Bucs didn't have a good year due to the numerous injuries to key players and the lack of protection for BJ...

preseason games had little to do with it.

Thumbs down Im Tired Of Hearing This!!!

dude stop putting the fans down, just because we are playing monday doesnt mean its a bad thing, it could be a good thing, have players rested and more time to prepare, You are making all of us Bucs fans depressed, dont post things like this if all you are going to do is put the team down!!! JUST BELIEVE THAT WE WILL HAVE A GOOD SEASON LIKE EVERY TEAM DOES IN THE NFL!

Eh, well what can you do? I'm sure it might have had something to do with it, but there shouldn't really be any excuses made for last season.

I am in no way, shape, or form putting the team or the fans down. I am merely expressing concern about this awful pre-season schedule. 4 games in 18 days? Normally during the season, they would play 4 games in 28 days, figuring a game for four consecutive Sundays. The worst it gets is a Monday night game, followed by the next Sunday game.

I want a good season as much as any other Bucs fan, believe me. Part of this is I can't believe the Bucs front office agreed to this.

Location: The BUCS are back to TOTAL SUCKAGE!
There will not be a lot of starters in either of the first two games.
Brad, Brooks, etc. will not even suit up.
Games 3 and 4 will see more of the starters getting ready for the season opener against the skins.
It's only pre-season, time to look at the youngsters and camp fodder.
go bucs...........
