Big Dog's All-Time Buccaneer Team

QB: Mike Alstott on the halfback option.
Offensive line: Hates all offensive linemen.
Safeties: Not Brian Kelly (is waiting for him to trip up).
Defensive ends: Doesn't care.
Defensive tacke: McFarland (barely).
Special teams: Doesn't care.
Linebackers: Derrick Brooks (because he has a show on 620).
Wide receiver: Mike Alstott going long (or Keyshawn, who had a show on 620).
Second wide receiver: Mike Alstott out of the backfield.
Running back: Mike Alstott.
Halfback: Mike Alstott.
Fullback: Mike Alstott.

Best imaginable play: Mike Alstott handing off to Mike Alstott, blocked by Alstott, throwing to Alstott for a TD.

Strange....

I see the A-Train trend... But, You're forgetting some GREATS

LeRoy Selmon... you know, our only HOF member
Lynch
Sapp
Barber
Brad (To date, as much as it pains me... HE was our QB on our only SB run)
Grammatica (He USED to be Automattica)
Hardy (Never liked him, but he was a baller)

To name a few....

you would think that the Big Dog would get tired from carring around #40's Jock strap around all day.

Thank you. I was starting to regret this thread since no one seemed to get the joke (or listen to that radio station). Yeah, the guy has made a career, for the last seven years or so, of sucking up to Alstott. He would reply, "Yeah, but you're listening," and he would be right about that. There is something addictive about listening to someone so consistently, patently unfair.

I dont know if you guys caught the replay of Alstott's injury, but I couldnt believe what I saw. I saw a large individual dangling from Alstott's scrotum and tripping him up causing the injury. Not sure who it was, but I saw Duemig run away from the pile immediately.

I get it. And I think a certain proximity (at least as far as Duemeg's wishful thinking is concerned) between himself and Allstott's...ah, legs...is part of what's going on here.

I didn't think people actually listened to his show anymore. There is no reason to listen to 620, except MAYBE Ron and Ian.

Did any of you guys hear the English dude Phil Jones on last Friday with Ron & Ian? Apparently he's part of the Bucpower.com team. He was hilarious.

Yup. I think he is like the president or something like that. Paul's friend was at Beef O' Bradys with Ron and Ian Friday.

Yesterday someone called in and said something to the effect of:
"I saw Alstott fumble yesterday and was like, 'There he goes again'. Then I was relieved to see he was hurt. I guess he won't be fumbling again for a while"

My first reaction was horror that someone would say something like that. Then I realized I was listening to Duemeg and this guy said that to get him going... I made some popcorn and listened to the big dog blow a valve

I was only half listening at that point, and I couldn't believe Deumig. He came off as a bigger ******* than the caller. Of course I was sitting in my office laughing my *** off and people were wondering what the hell I was doing. Deumig is an idiot, calling the guy and ******* made him look even worse. I couldn't believe it.

I heard him call the guy a ******** and thought nothing of it. Then I realized I was listening to radio. I wonder if he got fined.

The Bucs radio home should be manned by people who know football!
Big Dog knows hockey and little else!

Hadn't thought about it that way. Heard the same call, was also glad the caller brought up the past fumbles just to see how Duemeg would react -- but was then horrified to hear the caller finish his sentence about Alstott getting hurt and how that was somehow "good." I don't know, I hope you're right (and he was just saying that to **** off Duemeg). The other possibility is that he was just a nasty, mean-spirited guy.
